Beauclair wins for me. I specifically chose for Nifgard victory since I believe it would help with all the burning piles of mages and elves. More than disappointed when at the end game everything just there. I want a Nifgard Novigrad .

Their discussions before you talk to them aren't anything terrible. They're normal squabbles any couple might have. Yennefer says far more scathing and terrible things to Geralt, and people adore her. Why view this couple as bad? They're happy enough if you talk to them. I'd rather be in a relationship where I'm in love and have petty fights like that over having seven or less years to live or becoming a drunk.

thats the point....not all of real life is dark and cold, and fairy tales were not always bright and happy. Sometimes life is shit like the bloody baron, other times, people's stories are like that of these two. And even fiction that is thought of as happy was really dark. Each individual story is individual, with no constraints to the stereotypes of real life or fiction. My mother and father were two idiots who had to wait for each other, a story that sounded fairy taleish, until he died of cancer almost a decade and a half later. My relationship, is of a girl I knew years ago, who I've slept with before but we were both idiots who didn't know what we wanted and after being hurt and misused by others and ourselves, have found that we really want the same thing in each other. My only regret is that we weren't the people we are now back then, and hopefully we will continue down the path of a family in the future.

Because she's got the luxury of actually living now instead of scrambling to live while she's still got time. People have squabbles with their lovers all the time. People adore Yen, and she says far worse things to Geralt than Vivienne does here. The shifting of the curse only works because of the love clause in it. Better to be in a loving relationship where you squabble with each other than have one of you living on borrowed time and the other living as a drunk.

Checking this after the death of duchess, i know i shouldve met vivienne but i didnt, as failed her mission at my first run. When i get back to finishing secondary quests after i met Yen at my new house, while tracking down the professors quest, i saw vivienne crying alone in the cemetery. Was sure interesting to me, wonder if you have an explaination on that detail?
And don't forget the battle against Gregoire de Gorgon, the large knight-champion. I only figured out recently that he's a reference to Ser Gregor the Mountain from GoT ( Gorgon being a mountain in Toussaint). Late reaction I know but still.

I chose what Vivienne wanted - felt sorry for Geralt's employer Knight though. In between won the Tourney in name of Yen. However, was disgusted by Viv though, she is a self consumed girl - had no feelings for the benefactor, wasn't even modest to convey her regards in person........all that attitude for being a Duchess's foremaid. On the other hand there exist Ciri,goes to visit the grave of someone in person, who helped her, but was so disgusted for what became of her benefactor that she picked a fight with an entire village ............. temperament of the heiress to the Nilfgaardian Empire. Viv was fed up of her curse , true but Ciri was fed up of her elder blood too........ That's what it is, most girls these days are like Vivienne, easy class - it takes a lot more to be Cirilla the real blueblood, not everyone can afford that.
Well wouldn't the curse also slowly grow for him and get worse and worse? Just look at how he now has started to grow feathers. Maybe in a year it's worse just like how she started.
