Well the more I get into using sims, I’m realizing that sometimes simpler is better. Initially I was over complicating my sounds by adding this plugin and that plugin and eq’ing like crazy and layering IR cab sounds. And.id come up with something that sounded really good when played alone. But in a mix it was total shit. As I was watching this video I was trying to audio-visualize what it would sound like in a mix. And I bet it would be really good. Keep it simple, have a good DI level, use the one knob SIM, add a little EQ and compression and I bet it will sound amazing in a song.
I love your cat! He’s so adorable
He’s the best! He love interrupting me while I’m recording. Throwing white hair all over the place and dropping my guitar picks in the floor 😂
Cool. Sounds very responsive to the player.
I’ll admit this one isn’t my favorite plugin off hand BUT I have yet to use it in a mix and really see if the one knob amp sims are just a fad 🤷🏼♂️
