AFMC is one of the most prestigious medical colleges in our country and I am pretty sure you all would be having doubts regarding how much is the salary of an army doctor after completing MBBS from AFMC. In today's short, I will be covering the salary of an army doctor at each rank. After completing MBBS from AFMC, you get commissioned at rank of lieutenant and once you finish your internship, you get promoted to Captain. Further with your service, you get promoted to Major, Lt Colonel, Colonel, Brigadier, Maj General, Lt General.

SC girl candidates need to score the same as general category girl candidates. Your category only comes to play after you clear the cutoff.
This year's girls cutoff was 648.

Selection procedure of AFMC is a separate and is not part of All India Counselling or State Counselling. You will be taking part in all the counselling of state and all India as well, even after filling the form of AFMC. If you get medically unfit, you will get other colleges through the counselling process.

Which force you would be joining is decided by your score in the third and final year mbbs, while you are doing mbbs in AFMC.
@Guruposwal19 This is incorrect. Whether a cadet joins the army, air force or navy is decided by his mbbs score in third and final year.
Interview and Medical done for selection of candidates into AFMC has no role in it.

Sir as we know ki SC/SC have reservation in AFMC though we need less marks as compared to general and Obc.so sir I just want to know ki how much minimum marks are required for SC category to get college in AFMC os it less than 600 sir plz tell sir
The cutoff and eligibility criteria is same for everyone. The reservation of sc/st will be helpful only in the final merit list after interview.

You can do any job instead of
You will be a doctor with a mbbs degree of AFMC. You can do PG, or work in any other hospital, or choose other careers as a doctor. Or if you don't want to leave the armed forces, you choose Permanent Commision and serve in armed forces till you retire

No. PG seats will be decided based on NEET PG exam results. There is no reservation.

After you finish 4½ yrs of MBBS, you get commissioned as lieutenant in the Indian army. You do your internship as a lieutenant.

Asthma is considered unfit for AFMC.

As per your height, your eligible wt is 63 kgs if age is less than 20yrs and 65 kgs if age is more than 20 yrs. You can add 10% to the ideal wt, so you will be made fit till wt of 69 kgs.

Yes. If during mbbs you suffer some injury that makes you unfit. You will have to pay the remaining fees from year you got unfit not the entire bond amount.

There are multiple Mays to join army.
As doctor - If you have done mbbs, you can apply when the registration process starts. You will have to go through an interview and medical, following which you will be commissioned as captain. If you have done PG as well before giving the interview, you get antedate seniority and will be given rank of major within one year of commission.
As other profession-
There are multiple exams like CDS which has more vigorous training after the screening process and you will be commissioned as Lieutenant/Captain with no antedate seniority.

No. They check your dental points. If your dental points are complete, you will be made fit.

After you complete MBBS, you will have to serve in the armed forces for 4yrs, following which you will be eligible for PG.
