- In this video, I visited Japan for the first time and couldn't resist spending a little bit too much money on everything One Piece. Stores include: Mugiwara Store Mini in Kiddy Land in Kyoto, Mugiwara Store Osaka, Maruzen, Animate, 7-Eleven, Gion Festival Gallery, Kyoto Marketplace and Osaka Castle Store.

I lived in Northern Japan for four years while in the military. Do not fret over their clothing sizes, they are made much smaller than the UK or the US sizes. It took me a while to determine what my Japanese size of clothes were but once you know it the options are endless. 😊😊

The thing with sizes in Japan, it's that japanese people are not as big/wide as foreigners, so their sizes are like 1 or 2 sizes small, It was something like that if I remember correctly

The marine folder thing comes with the point cards! When you complete all the straw hats they’ll give you the folder and Sunny’s point card so next time you can pick other wanted posters.
I watched the clips of you shopping with my fiancé and we were laughing so much because that's what we were like when we were shopping in Japan 😂😂😂 I spent a crazy amount of money on merch and figurines of anime we love, I try not to think about it too much. I'm so pleased you had a good time, I loved visiting Japan.
I'm so glad you posted all your merch! I didn't want it to end! I'm heading to Osaka/Kyoto next month and I'm so excited to visit the Mugiwara stores. I didn't even know they existed. The Osaka one's just down the street from my hotel!

Just stopped by the store in shibuya/harajuku this last week. They had some costumes from the live action on display. It was pretty cool.
When you get acrylic stands from blind bags or cafes and stuff in Japan they often come with a lil chain. My guess would so they can be attached to phones or ita bags but if you're just using as a stand then always worth keeping it as a spare lol. Especially as blind bags and gachapon merch are always gonna be thr most common merch for any series. PLUS acrylic standees are great for decorating shelves I have so many...

As someone who was just in Japan, this is so valid. So much money spent. I do believe that Buggy merch just goes very fast. We were in the Mugiwara Store in Tokyo and they had Buggy merch the first time we went, however it was already in the hands of people waiting in line. Then when we came back a week later to get more all the Buggy stuff was gone. He's just so popular!

I also bought the latest one piece manga when I visited Japan in 2015. It turns out to be volume 78 with very cool Zoro fighting Pika scene. I loved it so much as a memorial souvenir!

Lol! I just came back from Japan. When you mentioned the place in Kyoto with a bunch of Jackets, I knew exactly what store you were talking about. I noticed a Shanks jacket right out front. I didn't go too hard on anime merch this time though. It was a crazy foodie trip this time around. Gained 10lbs in 2 weeks and I regret nothing.

Gavin, just so you know for the future, when it comes to clothing sizes in Asia, you need to go 1 to 3 size larger. Typically 2 size larger is the most you have to do.
Asian clothing sizes are insanely small, I’m a small to medium in US sizes and an large to extra large in Asian clothing sizes.
