It de-activates and after it de activates, your esim cannot send/receive sms for 24 hours, to protect you because if esim is not activated by you but someone else then they can easily get access to all the services registered against your number. So you have 24 hours to take action.

Bro aisa kuch specific sim 1 & 2 nahi hota isme. Apko label karna hota hai like primary, secondary, business etc. aap kisi bhi sim koi bhi nam de sakte hai. Agar aap sim 1 ya sim 2 dena chahoge toh wo bhi kar sakte ho settings main.
