- Analysis of Jikook’s so called Rose Bowl ear nibble, or kiss, that people take as proof. I find it ugly to sexualize such an emotional moment, where Jimin is literally crying.
I used the HD from memories of 2019 for the close-ups. THERE IS NO SALIVA STRING. That was an illusion created by the lower quality of the fancam. Stop bringing something up that you can only see when pixels suffer and lag.

@@loveislove46 Yep, jikook are way to comfortable being open with their relationship a.k.a. friendship because there’s nothing to hide, as you said. They can be shown being super close, going alone to Tokyo, etc, and it’s not seen as risky because even if someone was suspicious and tried to dig into it, they’d find nothing other than bromance. On the other hand, I can see why they’d be extra cautious when it comes to TK. They haven’t been the most subtle during prior years and they’re afraid they showed too much already. You can see a big change in their portrayal once they started implementing precautionary measures. I hope these measures grant them more freedom of action and they can interact without as much concern again.

All the “proof” jikookers have consists of easily explained, platonic moments; obviously showcased and orchestrated fanservice; and ultimately, misinterpretations like this ear thing. It surprises me how easily some buy into the whole illusion that fanservice instigates, preventing them from seeing their interactions for what they are: preciously brotherly. I choose to believe it didn’t due to context, Jk’s surrounding actions, the observed distances, etc. We both agree he was being very sweet and caring, but I would find it odd if someone used nibbling to comfort another person while they were so vulnerable, knowing that the moment would be sexualized by a high number of people and therefore trivialized.
