Huge Airbus A400M Atlas plane makes spectacular beach landing!! in 4K

I was lucky to witness the A400 do several touch and go's and landings on a beach in South Wales! and it was time to try my new video camera the Panasonic HC-X1500! and 4K for the first time!! what an awesome sight in some great weather! I will also link a video of the A400 fly Low-level in the mountains of North Wales an area also known as the Mach Loop in a link below.
At a top speed of over 500 miles per hour it can carry 37 tonnes over a distance of 2,000 nautical miles up to 40,000 feet.
It can land and take off from semi-prepared airfields, small landing strips and even beaches, as was proved earlier in the year. - Наука та технологія

Chapeau to the pilot and for capturing this amazing aircraft in action! I had no idea the vertical stabilizer was so large!!!

The fin and stabilizer height struck me as large too. It must be to avoid a super-stall condition where the wake from a main wing stall envelopes the stabilizer making it unresponsive and in turn making it impossible to push the nose down for recovery.
4K and 60fps is stunning on the big screen,,

Outstanding footage of an amazing monster. Got the impression from side view that nacelles are giving slight down thrust. Take off from static is amazingly short even allowing for tight zoom shot. Memorable. :)

How was the Panasonic camera? What made you switch back to the Sony AX53?
Great Vlog, I think you had a video earlier this year with a similar plane landing on the same beach, I would be keen to know what gear you use to shoot 4k and if you would change for any reason, thanks
I used these beach landing to compare my Sony AX53 which I uploaded a couple of months ago and the Panasonic HC-X1500 which records 4K in 50p but I prefer the Sony its a much more forgiving video camera! my dream camera would be a Sony ax53 but records in 4k 50p

@@ElwynR wow, was in that tower when i was about 14, a harrier came along and hovered right next to us, the pilot waving at me and the other guests, one of my most treasured aviation memories!

Some of those touch and go's looked a little harsh, but then again, I'm no pilot, so I have no clue.
I thought so myself. Maybe the pilot is still learning ? They seem to become progressively better.
