Thanks again and happy new year to you 有難う 💛。 I can't believe that I certainly witnessed this performance with my wife at Line Cube Shibuya on March 20 last year. I feel it is a beautiful and soothing daydream to me.
I’m happy to say that I was also at this show, 2nd row right in the center. It was a beautiful performance start to finish. This show caused me to fast track my first trip to Japan and I’m so glad that I did. Can’t wait to visit again.
This concert is on the CD all of us Maidiacs are waiting on... should be shipped soon, delivery first half of January. Available only to members of their fanclub, 14 tracks, including Saiki's solo performance of Choose Me... just her and her piano. 😍 They used this stage backdrop for their "Bestie" MV. Yokohama was the 1st time she played piano at a live show, all the "huh's" that came from the crowd when Kanami walked past the piano and Saiki sat down, if I recall it made Saiki chuckle (I have to go to the bluray to make sure) but Miku mentioned it later in the show about how the crowd was 😮😮
This was Saiki's 3rd song with piano on stage. The first song was Choose Me at Yokohama Arena, and the second one was also Choose Me at this Okyuji. I was lucky to watch both shows❣❣
Happy New Year John! Great review to a great song. My favorite song and this version was amazing. Hopefully I'll see you at one of the acoustic shows they have planned for this year. PO!🕊 🤘😆🤘
I think what separates Band-Maid from all other bands that have done acoustic (unplugged) shows is they re-imagine the songs as if they've never been performed before. That is a gift few other composers in history have accomplished. Just a masterful performance by all 5 of them. Happy New Year John !
I don't think she sounds nervous. It's just the tone and feel of the song was changed for the acoustic performance. She's not belting out vocals like the normal version, but singing more delicately.
@@armynurseboy😮 I think it's about her piano playing. I think she still sounded tad nervous, but being able to sing beautifully and play (even though it's not too the degree of Miku's guitar yet) is so impressive and inspiring.
IF John Reaves was not already one of my favourite reacters,he would be, solely due to the features that he focuses on here !....Miku's harmonies with Saiki, Kanami's sensitivity,and..most of all,.. the brief period of them ALL vocally harmonising !!!! yes,yes,.. I'd love to hear mucjh more of this too !!! As hard as it is to rationally justify admiring any one of the Maids even more than the others (absurd,of course!) , I still get incomparably carried away by Miku !!!... Miku is a summer breeze.
As always, I loved your reaction. Thank you so much for continuing to create content ♥You're one of my favorite UA-camrs. So let's goooo! New year, more content, different segments, I'm excited~ As for the song, it made me feel so sad. I checked the lyrics and they are so relatable, they made me want to cry. It's beautiful. If it's not too much to ask, can you please react to 19 Sai (19才) by Suga Shikao? Thank you!
Please more Saiki on the piano. l would venture to guess that Kanami is giving her lessons. The best part is Saiki finishing on the piano…she looks like she is having so much fun. 🤘🕊️🦍🥷👸🏻👀PO!
Watching lots of Wings of Pegasus videos, I can say confidently that Saiki doesn’t lip sinking. Never, and never will! Even Pink Floyd and Cliff Richard are miming, but not my Band Maid!
They're ARTISTS at their craft. It is so rare for an entire band to be at this level of talent and skill. They all involved in the composing of the music with Miku still the primary lyricist with Saiki being more involved. Too many ignore the lyrics, they are highly respected Japan and by, not enough in the west.
We need consistently good translations. I wish some professional translators would commit to a project of giving all the B-M lyrics definitive English versions.
@@c.7610 There are good translation, Reddit is a good source. Another way, that I use, is DeepL. It's free. Just copy/paste the lyrics, select the language and there you are. I have also used it for interviews that are not in English. I also use it to translate my comments into the language of overseas reactors.
Kanami has pushed the other band members to become even greater musicians. Akane- more difficult and faster drum pattens. Miku- playing the guitar. Saiki- song writing and now piano playing. If it was ever possible they have become an even better all round musicians.
Can I cry now? This was already one of my very favorite songs from the Maids, but the intimacy of the presentation here is so beautiful. Damn! My only misgiving is that Saiki is so absorbed in her keyboard work that it kind of lacks the direct connection that she usually has with the audience with this type of song, but that's a minor quibble.
Another magical Band Maid performance of a wonderful, ethereal song. If by some remote chance someone is hearing this for the first time then please find the original, free from the pointless interruptions and screams of this particular reactor.
This concert was my favorite out of all the concerts they live streamed starting from the Yokohama concert. And this song wasn't my favorite of the concert, that was Corallium. Another thing was that Saiki was the last to leave the stage. I am pretty sure she is usually the first to exit.
👍👍BAND-MAID unplugged performances are so awesome🤗. Great reaction. 🖖❤

Got mine ordered!😊
And yeah, Saiki going "are you surprised?" makes me giggle.
Was at this concert and this was the finale. After it finished I just sat in my seat stunned. Definitely the highlight of the show.

Every performance by Band-Maid makes me fall more and more in love with them.
❤

They've got 2 acoustic concerts scheduled for this year.

Lordy she sounds nervous, that's so cute :) You killed it, Sai-chan, no need to worry.

Mincho is a great singer, whether she likes it or not!
Beautiful as usual. 👍

Even Miku-chan's strumming technique is much, much improved.

😍🤘
Soft or strong, fast or mellow, plugged in or acoustic, Band Maid stirs the heart and tickles the ear.
❤❤
Loved that, Thanks John
❤❤❤
Beautiful. ❤❤❤❤❤
Of course Kanami is sitting there with a smile. Her two students are front and center.
As if the original version of Daydreaming did not hit hard enough they do this .
🤘🤘🤘
I cant speak Japanese but I sing along everytime a I heard it lol

I can feel her through her singing, no problem.

I am just going to call her Saiki (Evolved Form). Yeah.....

Entranced again.
