it's high elo mind game, happens a lot, graves predicted he will comp over the wall as fast follow up, as soon as graves comes within close range, so instead of waste skills 1 v 1 qianna in baron pit which be honest graves knew he can't win, so he knew it's safer to jump over the pit where his teammates are at, but he predicted what graves predicted actually not jumping over the wall.

The Graves singlehandedly threw that game. It was in the bag if he and Alistair hadn't decided to revive the enemy team back into the game with those retarded ints. Just that random ass Baron where the Graves just walks past the enclosed Qiyana like a moron makes him seem like win-trading. If I were the Qiyana or MF I would have been livid.

I was watching this game live. He said the reason for building serpents fang is mainly because of the 18 lethality it provides, giving him the max dmg output in order to comeback in the game.
5:08 his combo is flash e ignite q w q. He just did the first 4 pretty much at the exact same time. He gets in range for E, casts his ice enchant for the root so that he can get a rock enchant without her being able to dodge. Doesn't need ult, since it would only push her further under tower, plus he has enough damage anyway and doesn't have the mana so he doesn't bother as he can use it when he next comes back to lane. Unlucky that minions killed him though. Edit: Also he seems to get serpents to deal with not only the Diana shield, but Alistar has Locket of the Iron Solari, which is shielding for pretty much his whole team, so it helps to nullify this. Also, the huge shield on Sterak's. I think the serpents is the only reason he can one shot fiora there, without it he'd have a much harder time.
Quite happy to find out I've been intuitively abusing the Stealth Q the right way, as this Qiyana just pops in and out of stealth like he wants to assert pressure and zoning. Also definitely started to play her when you made your first video about her, so thanks for giving me my new favorite champ. Also at 28:25 where he pops the Graves he uses E to pop the Spellshield, immediately uses R and Autos the Graves once, then uses Prowlers and autos one last time. For some reason the Prowlers did that insane dmg where Graves health just disappears, it took out like 40% of graves HP. Insane to think that he killed Graves without Q>W>Q at any point during that combo, but I guess he knew beforehand that he would deal enough dmg and could use his Stealth Q for the Ali afterwards. Quite interesting too that Prowlers does this amount of dmg, now I'm wondering if the anti-shield Item also works against spellshields or if it only means literal shields that absorb Physical/Magic DMG.
This is such a pressure focused game, hes constantly going invisible to pressure the team and make them really question their next move. Its amazing honestly.
@Midbeast I think he built Serpent's Fang before Edge of Night because alistar bought locket and because of the high damage stats it provides - 10 extra AD and 8 lethality over Edge of Night.
Something to keep in mind about Serpent's Fang: Yes its passive is designed to punch through shields, but stat wise it's actually identical to Youmou's. Its a really powerful assassin item just considering the high lethality and AD, so I think he picked it up here as a hard snowball item that ALSO helps him duel a priority threat. Serpent's isn't good when there are no shields, but the stats are so good for assassins its worth it when there's only 1 or 2. The damage also overloads, if it kills the shield the bonus damage does hit enemy health, so even something like Overheal makes it a good item.
Explanation for serpent's fang: Qiyana was targeting fiora and looking to catch her out as much as possible. She had a steraks gauge. The most common way chinese players get leads from behind is to target the weakest player on the team.

Witts end is a superb item on ADCs that want to avoid being 1 shot by in this case Diana. The MS on attacks is also great. Its just an underated item. The change to it is so good its much stronger then earlier as it also provides AD.

There are only 5 items with 18 lethality, the 3 mythics, ghostblade and serpents fang. It's possible that he grabbed it for the diana, but it's also possible he just wants the extra lethality.

The reason he goes for something like Serpents fang is it is a really cost-efficient item even if the enemy team doesn't have many shields the stats serpent fang gives is equal to ghostblade but it costs 200 gold less.
His qiyana makes me wonder how it is even possible that I can feed on that champ and make it look useless
The key is the farm, he maintained a solid income throughout the entire game, add to that a couple of shutdowns and he was pretty much fed.

serpents fang is 2800 gold to ghostblades 3000. they both have 60 ad and 18 lethality so him getting serpents is mostly for stats
