Oh my gosh this is such perfect timing! My deadline is in around January and I was so stuck for so long, I’m pretty certain on biology chemistry maths and french (with the intention of dropping one) but I’ll probably still change my mind 🤣 have a lovely Sunday! X
I’m glad the timing was right!
I was so unsure for a very long time as well but I’m happy you have a good idea for your options now :)
This is going to be so helpful for me. I pick my GCSEs sometime next year and I don't have a very big idea of what I am choosing. Thank you x
Have a nice day
I really don't need this advice but tomorrow is my Chemistry exam and I was just studying the whole day and your voice calmed me a little.
Which subjects do you study (or plan on doing)?
I’m planning on doing English lit, Sociology, Politics ( I want to study law👌)
Am doing GCSE Geography, History, spanish and RS am in year 11
I'm planning to do A level History, Law and Geography
Are you allowed to pick whether you want to do higher or foundation maths for GCSE'S? And, do all subjects have higher and foundation?
At my school the teachers decided whether a student did foundation or higher and yes most subjects have a higher and foundation paper.
Are you planning to do law at uni? If is it worth it doing it at a level
No, currently I am considering doing psychology at University but if law is something you are thinking about doing at uni then it could be worth doing at a level (if anything it might help you decide if you do want to do law in the future) but deciding subjects is so individual so I can’t really say for certain.
A tip that I would add as well is to pay attention in any assemblies for certain subjects and if your school has any taster days or evening type things definitely go to them it was a game changer for me! :)
Yes, yes, yes definitely! I kind of thought it was a given (but I probably should have included it)
Taster days/assemblies are so important along with talking to your teachers.
@@Jeta_ Definitely! It allowed me to have a discussion about subjects I wouldn’t have thought of before as well
