Been to Gatlinburg three times now and have never been out of the car bc there were absolutely no parking spaces It’s like someone took the most beautiful valley and put a shopping mall in the middle of it

Always a pleasure watching your videos. If you are going to ride the bull at Loco Burro, you need to ride it before you eat. I learned that lesson the hard way. We have our pilgrimage to Tree tops set up for next month. And we always do our stroll through Gatlinburg. There is something about this place that is just addictive. Good for you guys following your dream to live there. The mountains have a certain "calling" that is irresistible. Perhaps it is our shared Michigan roots that drive this craving. Growing up in a flat state makes one appreciate the beauty of the mountains as well as the rich history and culture of the region. And any chance to drive and/or hike in the Smokies is a special opportunity. Hoping to walk some new trails this year. As well as driving down Parson's Branch Rd. I hope you and Dawn are happy and are doing well. My very best to you both........from the Michigander from Concord, NC.

Yes just left Gatlinburg this past Friday morning after staying at the River edge Inn for 4 days, awesome stay away from the busy strip, ate breakfast mostly at flapjacks, and when we left we saw Crocketts pancake house which we did not notice not sure if it was better than Flapjacks, but this was our 2nd visit but found it is easier to travel down that back river road if going to pigeon forge or wanting to avoid the traffic on the parkway if coming back and picking up an available free parking spot coming back midway to stop and pickup something like friars donuts and coming back to your car and continue back to your lodge on the less busier part of Gatlinburg which I have never seen UA-camrs to pick up on to visitors , maybe thats just a learning curve for seasoned travelers, not to mention if Hwy 441 closes down and you have to reroute your trip back to Georgia which we had to do this past Friday , the Sugarlands visitor center gave us a nice alternate scenic alternate route around that which took us through Maggie valley which was awesome, you all may want to include these tips to travelers 😀😀😀👍👍

Loco Burro has the best habanero Salsa
Yes Howard’s has great Bloody Marys, and has special happy hours for them, but have always enjoyed there fried mushrooms in the past which was a meal in it self 👍👍 , but try and sit by the river side, sometimes they have bears wandering down there if your lucky 😀
Great video tour. I have been to Gatlinburg one time 25 yrs ago. We stayed in a cabin. I would like to visit now and stay in a hotel on the main drag. I’ll be reviewing your videos for hotel ideas!
We always stay kinda close to the main drag. So we can just get out and walk and explore and leave the car parked! Sometimes we might stay at the one end ! And like I said get out and walk !!

What is a good hotel to stay at if you want to Walk to Annakeesta .
We were there this past weekend for spring break. We left Tuesday morning. Had a wonderful time and our Cabin was gorgeous. Much love to you and Dawn ❤. Btw, the Gem Mine in pigeon Forge was so much fun I plan to do it again sometime soon.

We were in Gatlinburg for a day in March, it was so overwhelmingly crowded we only saw a few things. This makes me think we need to go back and try again!

The restaurants, the shops, etc are so much nicer and also more reasonable than New York can ever be. You have me wanting to move out near you. Which area do you think is the nicest where you are, or are you c truly 14:26 happy in sevierville? Just curious🤔
Gatlinburg is too overcrowded any more to really enjoy it unless you like traffic and bumping into people
