I like your enthusiasm. I just did the Cholla trail on 10 May 2024 but I skipped the beer and snacks. I was too pooped and just went back to the hotel to stretch out. I did the Echo Canyon trail a few years ago (twice). I think it is easier than Cholla too but I am 66 1/2 years old now so maybe that is why it is harder. Still it is a lot of fun and gives a great sense of accomplishment.
Congrats on doing the hike at that age! That is impressive. We totally laughed at all of the youngins just whizzing by us and climbing those rocks like it was nothing....
An excellent summary. You rock. When I talk about Camelback I tell people that Cholla has parts where if you fall off the edge, you will keep going for a bit. You never get that feeling on the Echo side. Also, with echo the first rail is intimidating. The second rail is hard and the next climb up to the half way point is the third hardest. But like you said, it's mostly up hill most of the way. Great hike and great video.
Hey, thanks for the insight. Sounds like you've hiked both sides a few times. We definitely won't ever forget it! (We appreciate the feedback on the video too. This was a super fun one to make!)
Here's a little more on Camelback Mountain:

Climb that thing and immediately get a beer- exactly what I’m going to do!😂❤🎉
I don't think that beer tastes any better than after a hike like that. OHSO good. 🍻

Thank you! Cheers to walkin' videos!
@@ClassCBroads a different twist on the normal walking video.
Yeah those ropes are to keep ppl from cutting thru and getting off the trail. Mostly.
I cannot stop laughing at the song for Camelback.😂
Nothing like two white girls channeling JT!
Great Video!!! Glad the footage helped!
Thank you again, Chef!
