iv'e been thinking of getting one of these extenders and as you have experienced it's benefit, i'll be getting one. Thanks for helping me make up my mind and shall report back about my experience. Keep up the good work.
Triumph wind deflector is $200 here in Canada . Amazon no name $30 . Both made in the land of inscrutable people of Oriental descent . Both do the same job . Both work . They move the buffeting air to a level above the head . It's a form of magic .
These things are brilliantly good, as I discovered years ago on the screen on my 1979 Spada 1000. Can ride 70 mph plus with helmet visor in the fully "up" position no buffeting. Mine in an MRA x-creen
After seeing your screen last year I bought one. It is an improvement on the short standard screen but I also get buffeting over 50mph. Looks like I will have to get the ebay add on as well :) My new screen was a bit tricky to fit as well, I had to bend and push the plastic and swear at it a bit so it knew I was boss.
I’ve found at the same speed on my Chinese scooter and on my Norge I get way more wind noise and buffeting on the Norge. Only thing I can figure is that the Norge has a lot more bulk to push through the air. When I duck below the windscreen it’s lovely and quiet and I can hear the engine oscillating along. Perhaps I’ll look into an add on but like you have. I also have a second screen for my Norge but now I cannot remember if it’s larger or smaller. 🤷♂️ Have a good day OGIAS from Rob in Dover PA USA.
It kind of proves my point, in that without a wind tunnel we are just guessing. I found the little extender worked for me but maybe not for someone else

As I said I'm not sure how it will affect different bikes and riders. All I can say is that it worked for me

I often wonder if prices are set using magic eight ball and aerodynamics is voodoo

I must admit this is the first time I have experienced one. It really does work

I have never used the standard one so can't really comment but the add on does work well.
