How is he on defence tho? I haven’t noticed him defensively, like is he agile enough on his feet to defend his ‘space’ or area on the field and help his team mate out who might miss tackles? Because being that big is a disadvantage in today’s game, we are seeing it more and more with Penrith’s system (they use smaller front rowers like Fish and Moss and next year Isaiah Papali’i will be replacing Fish) but they are very agile and are quicker at playing the ball and running up the field than those big boys like NAS and Griff. The game has changed (with the speed of the game) and especially for front rowers which means teams want players to play the ball even faster to fatigue and catch opposite players offside so they can get up the field faster to score or vice versa in defence. I’m a doggies fan and I play close attention to detail and listen to doggies players explain Ciraldo’s defensive system he implemented at Penrith that he is using at the dogs, that got us to finish 6th this year with literally the smallest forward pack in the NRL this year
@@tytutu9625 he is a big boy but ive never really noticed him get caught out laterally when hes played for Cowboys. Can get tired and miss a few when he plays longer minutes but if you use him right hes really good at what he does. The Kiwis played him just long enough imo and he thrived

I don’t support either team but got me thinking about a possible solution to a team losing a player to a HIA from a dodgy or reckless hit. In this situation the idea I thought of is when both players are off if Collins is getting a HIA and he fails it Roosters receive their 18th man as normal but with that they’ve lost an important piece to their front row rotation. So to equal it out NAS should remain off the field after his sin bin and Melbourne are also given their 18th man. Both teams lose an important piece without one getting a major advantage. Now with this scenario it was perfect cos both front rowers were involved. Now for the times a front rower levels out a fullback or a half. If that fullback/half etc. was deemed a cat 1 and unable to return then the team of the player who took that player out lose their corresponding player of same position. Eg - Eels are playing the Roosters, Collins takes out gutho and he is deemed cat 1. Eels receive their 18th man and The roosters would lose Teddy for their 18th man. Collins remains on the field after his sin bin but would be punished by judicial after the game. I know it’s not perfect and it sucks for the players who get taken off cos of their teammates actions but I feel it gives a level playing field by doing so. Both teams still have 17 players. I don’t know just an idea, obviously has holes in it.
