I’ve had my ZX for about a month & it’s definitely an upgrade from the Z1, though I still totally dig my Z1. But what I’d say for people to do with this bike is, for sure get knobby tires right away. They work great on the street, and will give you a lot more confidence on this rigid no suspension bike! Unfortunately you’ll eat up back tires quick; but the tires are only 30-40 bucks. Keep fresh ones on always, your safety is worth it. Great video! Glad to hear your thoughts on the bike. I’m pretty stoked on mine so far!
@@Desilv it’s not bad cuz of the fat tires of these bikes. You can air down tires too for a softer ride also. I prefer a rigid bike, it keep the weight of the bike down also!
Note: apparently there ARE cables already there for front/rear lights. the EU version - for europe has front rear lights and mudguards btw. eu version also has 10 gears for the chain drive.

Your wife will really like it the torque is insane as for the fenders they are not law but it rains more light's are a legal need.

The brakes are standard like any bike. So your choices are limitless if you look around for hydraulic brake sets that you want and fit your budget. The only thing you need to concentrate on is the adapters, The ones on the bike may easily blend in with no issues.. BUT On some occasions this can fall short... So just try them out first, and if no luck, then search for adaptors that will accommodate your new brakes without issue. - This is presuming you are keeping the same disks, If you change disk size then you need new adaptors anyway to accommodate the new size and brakes :)
I agree about the fenders!! I def want them for the random puddles since the controller is just exposed under the back of the seat. As far as the lack of suspension, you can drop your tire pressure to something like 25 so they absorb some more of the bumps. Great vid!
Great Video! I have the ZX also. I wish they would get all the accessories back in stock for customizing. You mentioned 28mph top speed. On Unlimited ride mode (4) Ive been going 34mph and feel it could do more. Separate light kids means the lights don’t drain your ride time. I like that.
@@jetkyle9490 maybe 36mph that’s the limit on flats, down hill is nice 38-40mph (depends how steep) and up hill is like 20mph. there is a better bike called the Ariel grizzly known to go 36-37mph faster than the 73.uphill 24mph and I only seen chubby or buff guys ride it.but it’s kinda ugly lol

Yes , the EU regulation states that bikes are equipped with fenders and lights to make a bike road legal, I've noticed that the right hand brake is for the rear and left for front. As a motorcycle rider I would swap them around. I'm looking into an electric bike and the Super73 has caught my interest. The rx is €4199 over here and the ZX €2499, Cheers from the Netherlands!

Hey man, thanks so much for this video! I am looking for a crate that I can install on the ZX. Here, in the EU, there's only one crate available which has a net over the top. This model is not compatible with the ZX. Could you make any third party crate recommendations, please?
Not sure if IrvLabs ships overseas, but check out irvlabs.com. They make a basket that sits beneath the seat on the ZX. I’ll have a video about it soon.
You can add a shock. Super73 sells one for $400, but you can find some on AliExpress for less than half that price that work. Join the Super73 FB group and you can find a few posts about it.

Ah yeah. I am on the heavier side too. I am considering the 10-Speed kit on my S2 for that little extra help, but if your area is flat, you will have a blast. Even if there are hills, you'll have a blast.
It's too bad they didn't offer the larger motor and battery pack for this model as an option, or the upside down front forks. I loooooove the striped nature of the ZX, and the frame is the best looking of the bunch IMHO. That little flick up of the back seat is the bomb.
You know? Since I have my S2 still, I don't miss it, but I can tell the difference. However, the get-up and go of the ZX makes up the difference. It's a fun bike.
Actually, the ZX is a little taller than the S2. S2 does have a little faster top speed and front suspension. The seat on the ZX is really comfortable though. So it's up to you! haha

pedal assist definitely helps. As far as riding with your son, there are some pegs you can buy to put on the front and have him rest his feet there. That might be the best option. Regular kid carrier attachments don't tend to adapt to this bike as easy as a standard bike, but there are some solutions if you do your research.

I really love the look of this thing. I wish Super73 used the S2 innards on this frame. I have a 500W/800W peak Ebike and it can go as fast as this bike, and probably does hills better since I have 7 speeds and is a tad lighter. This fact keeps me from not buying this beautiful bike.

The battery locks. I think it's theft-proof without damaging the battery. Not awkward to pedal and throttle. It's a great bike.

I did the same thing with the Grzzly Tires. I don't know that there is an advantage, but I just matched what came stock with the bdgrs.

The Segway will rocket you up to speed, but at 200 lbs you'll have no issues on a Super73 reaching their potential.

Nah, the battery is great and compares to the RX and S2. It's a great bike, like the rest of em.
I have super73 rx 3800.00 its broken. 735 miles. Buy a cheaper electric bike.
