- #Turbine #tomahawk #futura The Rebuild of the Tomahawk Futura Turbine Jet continues in this 3rd and final video. This is an older model Futura MK1. It is powered by a Jet-Munt 140 Engine. Uses Highend Futaba servos throughout. It has the standard Tomahawk Air gear which is beautiful quality as it has large cylinders and uses 4mm festo tubing to supply the air. The Radio system will be switched from Futaba to JR PROPO DFA to provide the control with a JRPROPO 11BPX unit. The one big change with this radio change is eliminating the SBus System from the plane. Enjoy! Filmed in 4K 60 FPS Ultra HD Video!

I don't know what to say anymore but your videos are just so helpful and entertaining! Keep going and I look forward to the maiden of the F-18!
Thanks! 😊 any comment is a good thing!
Thanks Jon again the Video an nice lesson on Jet repair. I did see one fly and to be it was very fast, sweet in it’s moves. May had a bigger jet engine because it look quick in the Air. Take Care.
Thanks Gregory! The Futuras do hold their lines very nicely! A lot like a pattern plane.
Great work Jon. Once it’s done, you need to do some slow heroic slow pans of the finished jet. Close ups of the key features etc.
richardwylie07 oh good call! Thanks 😊
When you were nose heavy, I was shouting at my phone.....”there’s lead in the nose!!!”...😂🤣😆...glad you spotted it before you did anything too drastic.
Haha 😂. Glad your looking out for me. 😎. Thanks Ian!

Love your videos ..... just what the CRTC asks for ..... more Canadian content !!!! ... lol
Would be interesting to see something about building a trainer jet, the radio/servo, fail safe and gyro options. You seem to like JR, but what about Futaba and Spectrum ??
Thanks David! HAHA!
Great suggestion! A large majority of my builds is based on what my customers are building for Aircraft. I think that's a great idea and will see what I can drum up!
I am partial to JR Servos on my own planes.
I did fly spektrum for pretty much my first 9 years in the hobby so very familiar.
Not a fan of Futaba but I can muck my way through setting up a plane on a futaba setup.
Looking to start flying jets looking at the Krill aeres mini
Nice! Great choice!
Your content is awesome wish you great success with the new worksop looking forward to much more content 👍
Hello, why did you take not some lead out of the front section, if I was looking good, greetings from Remi
It eventually came out after the plane was fully put back together and C of G completed.
Great PRO-ject! How do you remove the shoe goop??
Thanks! if you get under it with a poker/screwdriver it peels off with a bit of force. Generally no residue left behind and no damage done.
I know it might be a little below your standards, but I would like to see you do a turbine/foamy. A scale military jet and not a sport jet.
HAHA. Oh come on!😀. Definitely not below my standards! I'm fairly picky on what I purchase and fly as it has to be "Fun" for me. I do possibly have an Avanti Foamy build with a 40N engine coming up but your talking about like a F16 Type idea?
The Lighter Side Of RC Yes
This is not a comment .I have a qoestion on how to install a gyro 3e power box Could please show the install and where to plug in the power. Thank you Peter
Hey Peter. With the gyro 3e there is not separate power needed. If channel 2 is your R Aileron you run a patch cable from your receiver into the Aileron A channel of your gyro. Your right Aileron servo or servo extension lead plugs into the output of the 3e gyro. The leads coming from your receiver power they gyro.
Make sense?
Can you share please complete instructions and files for this project please
If you take a look at Tomahawk website i'm sure they will be listed there.
I saw some lead in the nose. Can you get that out?
Haha just saw the rest of the video where you addressed that!
Good eye! I do think that we will end up pulling the c of g back further.
