What Happens After a Day of Filming Nail Art Tutorials?

- Hey, guys. So, have you ever wondered if our clients go home with all different kinds of mismatched nails after a day of filming? Well, when the cameras are off I design a full set for them based on the design of two of their custom nails.
So, in today's video, we have the wonderful Olivia and I am going to be creating a full set using the Glitter Pendant nail and the Disco Glitter nail for full inspiration. OMG! HOW COOL IS THAT?
In order to create this custom look, I am first going to remove the two nails which don't go together and that is the Rose Quartz and Iridescent Nails so I am going to remove their designs and make them nice and plain ready for their new look!

To me, this is the perfect length for nails. Ive always loved the squoval? look. And this is literally the ideal length.
I am seriously falling I love with the look of short nails with a lot of designs and stones and things on them. It just looks so cool! Great job on this set!

Kirsty it’s refreshing to see you using a file rather than the mechanical drill that so many other nail techs insist on using. I was taught to hand blend, file & remove nails by hand blending along with soaking nails off.

GothicaBeauty. I agree ! I HATE using those electronic files . Love using hand files :) much easier in my opinion
As a nail tech like Kirsty, if you are properly trained in using the e file, it won’t hurt the client or be painful. There’s no reason not to use them and they save our shoulders from constant filing.

We just got hit by a hurricane yesterday/last night so slept at my mother in law's house. Thankfully she didn't lose power so I was up all night watching videos and just got a notification for this! YaY!

I’ve been watching Naio Nails since before Kirstie was on the videos, and I’ve ALWAYS wondered what happens after the videos are filmed. I kinda assumed the set was finished, but there’s been a few videos where I’ve seen the model wearing several different nails from videos that were released around the same time. Then I thought they took either all of them off and did whatever the model wanted or kept one and finished the set that way. It’s nice to FINALLY know the truth!

Ok was watching this with a friend and she asked a pretty good question I didnt have an answer to. She asked when you are filming do you make the video with paying customers or do you have friends who are willing to let you do designs when you dont have clients that day. Also, if it is a paying customer do you offer a discount for them to let you make the videos and then take the nail off to redo the nails for them like in this video.
-The people that get their nails done are models (let's assume they get paid to get the nails done or they get agree to be models and in exchange they get their nails or both. Sometimes Kirsty does have clients be filmed (aka Faye)
Also, I highly doubt they their is a discount for people that are friends of her. I say this because she normally will do the nail she wants the design to be on as. As seen with Faye and other clients. She just does Fayes normally as she was filming and if Faye was gonna go on with her life.
