    Lol Allison Fisher showed this to me. I did play better after calibrating my “getting down” routine with it. But it’s easy for me to “forget” how to stand perfectly so I think I need to get one for myself so I can calibrate my routine periodically. You know how some people have this issue with playing great for a few days, and then not making a ball? I think this would help with that kinda inconsistency. A guy once said that we keep trying to warm up our strokes but we forget that warming up our vision should also be part of our routine. Interesting stuff. I’ve found over many years that when I play badly, it’s often due to “zigzagging” when getting down into the shot. When I’m playing well, my vision is laser focused and stays on the shot line. Interesting stuff…

    sighting is one thing cue dead straight is another the old saying" cueing where you are looking" is it and of course having a good memory to remember the picture of the angle required is another . we can all pot the blue dead straight into the blue pocket but try it 50 times and see how quickly your bad cue acting puts an angle on that simple dead straight pot . Cue action grip stance is everything from a consistency point and no doubt finer tweaks will help but putting on weight is another screw up because everything changes from that stephen hendry started putting weight on later in his life and his game has gone

    not a new idea. no need to spend money on such a thing.

    • @diamonddavesbilliards
      @diamonddavesbilliards  2 роки тому +1

      Right, it's not a new idea. A patent search shows step-down systems for parallax vision from 100 years ago. However, simply giving the device to someone without instruction won't help much. I don't know. As long as people are aware that they are really paying for the online videos and guides, and the device is "bonus" tool to be used with the lessons, then I think it's okay. I totally understand though. I can print one on my 3d printer for 5 cents.

      @@diamonddavesbilliards from watching another video from sight right it seems that the lessons may be Snooker oriented is that the case for the stance?

  • @jaroslavcech225
    @jaroslavcech225 2 роки тому +2

    I guess you could say you're paying 40bucks for the actual idea/invention, but really, 40 bucks for a piece of plastic? This would take you like 20 mins to make, including the time you need to find the necessary things for this at home. What a total waste :D

    • @diamonddavesbilliards
      @diamonddavesbilliards  2 роки тому +9

      It’s actually the opposite. You’re primarily paying for the resources and courses, and the Pocket SightRight comes with those resources. I’ve made a perfect replica with my 3d printer for 10 cents, but I’m confident that if you give someone just the device, they won’t get even 5% of the potential from it.
