2 years on Diamox and was just told I need a stent due to worsening optic nerve swelling. EVERYTHING you're saying I've been through and still going through. My co2 is low, I'm nauseous, tired, can't eat. My neurologist has me scheduled for a lumbar puncture on 9/1 just for a quick fix. Its terrible being told the only medicine I can be on is making more sick than actually helping. I was just told all of this today. I'm a nurse and being the patient is so scary. Good luck with everything!
How are you now? Do you get pressure headaches and can they be bad upright too?
@@veronicareynolds372 my ex had the low co2 as well? She just got diagnosed with pseudotumor cerebri, do you have this low co2 as well?
She actually had the low co2 about a year ago and we are thinking that the IIH was the problem all along
@@antonioortega2588 Hello I don't think I have low co2 it's just my headache gets worst more upright. Not sure about co2 hope your ex gets better.
I'm very excited for you! I think this stent will be a life changer for you. I also think it will help you so you won't need a shunt.. Getting off of Diamox that would be great. What I find with that drug is when I first take it I drink lots of water. Then through out the day. Cause otherwise it can cause stomach pain and nausea. The. More water the better. Well best of lucky and looking forward to your Q&A video and update after your Stent Surgery😊💜

The losing focus is so real, and I have no idea what is causing it, I believe it is Diamox though

Can you update with your journey? My doctor wants to do a shunt in my back. Im going to ask him about the stent. My ventricles in my brain are extremely small.
How long were you out of work from the cerebral angiogram (CA)? I have been diagnosed recently. I’ve had the LP which went easier than I thought but the CA is coming up and I did have the discussion about the stenting. Just wondering how long I will have to be out of work
