These vintage Kyosho cars look amazing . Nice coverage of the " 240 " Greetings to Down-under from Germany
Glad you like them! Thank you for watching from Germany!
Awesome review. Thank you
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching!
Already got the Skyline, and another Fazer Mk2 for racing.... but might look into getting this shell for a runner on the Skyline chassis... then again, for the price of these cars being so amazing, hard to not get a set of wheels and tires, chassis , and electronics to go with that shell putchase...lol
Yes, this is a beautiful looking body and looks great as a static model. If you are already racing, I think buying a whole new car and using the chassis for spares is better value than buying the body separately. Thank you for watching!
Brilliant video mate, just bought myself one. Lots of fun.
Thank you for watching and please enjoy it!
wonderful Fazer Mk2 (is there the possibility of raising the chassis a little from the ground?) this in order to take it to terrain with little land.. Regards.
There is a rally version of the Fazer coming soon with long suspension travel.
Great video.
Would you recommend a water break in on the motor?
Yes, water break-in works well on these sealed brushed motors. Thank you for watching!
Hi, have the question about the battery. What do you recommend ? I’m looking for a LiPo but what’s the best in mah/voltage? Can you recommend me 😅
This Ninesteps Industries battery is the one we use for racing and it performs very well! bit.ly/3lBGMVa
I love the content! Im hoping to buy one of these soon but i do have a question wich is: what batteries would you recommend and would you guys have them by any chance?
Thank you for watching! We use the Ninesteps round 7.4v LiPo batteries with great success.
They are available here: srchy.hearnshobbies.com/?type=product,page,article&options%5Bprefix%5D=last&options%5Bunavailable_products%5D=last&q=ninesteps*%204200*&view=ls
Which charger do you recommend? I just purchased the ninesteps lipo battery
Is that the long or short fazer mk2 chassis?,I just got the Bel-Air Coupe which is long chassis, but would like to buy that body too 👍
This is the short wheelbase chassis.
@@HearnsHobbiesMelbourne ok thanks 👍😊
I just bought one of these and everyone is focused on how well detailed the body is and they seem to overlook the fact that the most important part which is under the body is all plastic.. plastic shafts, shaft cups, plastic gears... so disappointing, gotta wonder how long these parts will last.. I reckon for the price you pay for these ($450 AU), the gears , shafts and shaft cups should be metal.. you can get a HSP Flying Fish for around ($350 AU) Brushless, ball raced, metal shafts, metal cups, metal diffs, metal pinion and spur gears even alloy shocks... I think I made the wrong derision buying the Kyosho... can someone please re-insure me that this is a good car? LOL..
We race these and they are a good car. Far superior in every respect when compared to a Flying Fish.
@@HearnsHobbiesMelbourne Gday mate.. thanks for your'e response.. my next question is where do you find parts for these? . I have looked in Hearns Hobbies/ The Hobby Man, and there wasn't much available there.. It is the same story with other Hobby Shops and Ebay.
What are you looking for? Parts are not available in stock continuously due to supply delays.
@@HearnsHobbiesMelbourne once again thanks for your reply.. I have't broken anything yet I was just wondering about parts availability and you answered my question.. Thank you... maybe I can ask one more.. what parts do you think are most common to be replaced.. I was thinking of stocking up on parts that I can find..
I will conclude by saying I have had my Kyosho Fazer now for 2 months or so. The car did 40kph on a 2s out of the box.. I added a 4300kv brushless motor, 60 amp ESC, a 33 tooth pinion and a alloy drive shaft.. it now does 60kph on a 2s and 80kph on 3s. In that 2 months I have driven it hard and crashed even harder, it has really taken a bashing. I was worried about all the plastic parts and how long they would last, but I must say the plastic it tuff as nails.. I haven't had to replace anything so far..... so yeah, they are good cars. 👍
You need to be the lipo battery separately
Yes, battery and charger are separate items. You can select to power the car with NiMh or LiPo batteries.
What battery (Voltage and mAh) do you recommend for better performance and durability buddy?
The Ninesteps Industries hard cased LiPo is a great battery: bit.ly/3lBGMVa
Really wish they would stop with the body pins, really kills the scale looks. We aren't in the 80s anymore lol, we have the tech to make clips.
you can have some magnetic body mounts that are invisible.
clips ruined it
Which clips?
