Been living in BCS for 3 1/2 years now. Built a house between Todos Santos and Cabo. All this after visiting one time. So much to learn but the number one thing is to remember, "it's Mexico, don't freak out". We love it.
Oh my goodness it just keeps getting more beautiful every week. I will watch this over and over until next Sunday. Thank you for taking us along. You all are in our prayers for safety.
We’re loving your travels in Mexico. This episode is so amazing to see the challenges of road travel to this beautiful campsite and it looks like the children are having a great time.
I drove my 33 foot class a motorhome down Baja and back. You are absolutely right about everything you said about the driving. It’s definitely white knuckle if you have a bigger rig. I would not take my motorhome down the Baja again.
That river camping spot is stunning, but that road/drive = “wild and wooly!!!” I’m pretty sure if I drove that road myself, I wouldn’t have any fingernails left. Sounds like a caravan is the best way to drive there. Hope you’re doing well; safe travels & enjoy.
Oh my goodness…I’ve been validated. So on our cross country rv trips, I have had the same look on my face when interrupted by either the voice on map quest or a walkie/talkie while having a conversation with my husband. Hahahaha
That is the worst part of traveling in Mexico, we were low on gas and finally found a town in the baja with gas, they are few & far between Rocky Pte. & Mexicali! The roads look beautiful, but you come around a corner and a big chunk is gone! We experienced hitting a pothole and we we were miles from the border. It was at least 100 that day, plus the checkpoints were nerve racking. We just said our prayers and made it home safe. I enjoy your videos! ❤
LOL. Son of a gun. We didn’t have Wi-Fi or cell phones as a kid. We rode our bikes to our friends house to see if they could play. In my case that was 1.3 miles.
I noticed your group uses some sort of Walkie-Talkie to communicate with each other on your Baja trip. I am curious what brand of Walkie-Talkie you used and how well they worked for your group. We are planning a trip to Mexico ourselves and would like a good way to communicate with each other as well.

Great video! You picked the Rv to travel in to get to Baja! Glad you fit in good by the water at that park. That Rv park looks nice. Nice you are by the water. I like that you were able stay close together at the campsite. It’s beautiful there! Hope you had fun there! Glad the filtered water tasted good! Have a great night and see you soon! Safe travels!
We drove in Baja last year about this time and one just needs to slow way down when those semis come along. It was a camper truck that was bouncing side ways on the narrow roads and his side outside ladder that ripped off our driver side mirror and shattered the glass down the entire length of our Class C leaving about 200 tiny scratches all down the side. It could have been worse....no place forever it seemed to pull over and check it out. It took forever to have our insurance agree to pay the full price of repair work. Just have to be patient and persevere .
I respect driving a tall 2wd class c RV down in Baja, thats some skilled driving. Adventure vans on promaster/sprinter/transit chassis handle those roads so much better than a 5th wheel
Y'all are so much fun to follow! Even more so since I found out you're from Tennessee. My family on Mom's side is from the Sequatchie Valley near where y'all are from.....so that accent just sounds like home to me. Even though I grew up near Lubbock TX, and still live there, my brother just moved to TN, bought some land 12 miles north of Dunlap from a cousin and built a barndominum. I have been out there two times in the past year, but haven't towed the 31' Airstream there....we flew. Thanks for the fun videos!
I hope you stay safe. I would never under any circumstances take my motorhome into Mexico. Lots of other places to go where you won’t be kidnapped, robbed or killed.
Yeah the semi hanging back thing - if any of you drive up the Cuesta de Inferno (spelling) out of Santa Rosalia up to San Ignacio - follow a semi up for the EXACT same reason. Trust me on that icky thing.
I'm wondering how much traffic there is. It doesn't seem like a lot but then I wasn't there and you were. Keep the good stuff coming guys and give the kids a hug for me.
@@LessJunkMoreJourney …. What’s your thought on Mexican Insurance? You have a beautiful C and I love my Revel and can’t decide on Full Coverage or just Liability. What do u think? Dave
I’m way behind on viewing videos, but unfortunately, there’s more to life than just lying in bed watching videos all day. My wife happens to thing responsibilities are more important. Bah, she just doesn’t understand. Anyway, I’ve got to be honest, I’d love to travel through Mexico and South America, but no way would I do it, not with what’s happening. The US isn’t that safe anymore, but I think there’s more serious danger in Mexico. I realize you guys have been back safe for awhile. God is good!
Please be careful. Evidently a prominent cartel person was recently arrested and there is retaliation going on, against tourists. Please be extra careful ❤ Hopefully you’re in US now.
You've had several drone shots this week and last week, but I heard that Mexico doesn't allow foreign visitors to use drones in Mexico. Did you have to get a special permit or how did you make arrangements for that?
I've driven Baja since before it was all paved. It is not "the other planet," y'all seem to think it is. Just relax and be Mexican. You are a guest; act like one.
Since you are unable to bring your personal weapons across the border. What plans do you have in place for your families safety. I only ask because there is a travel warning for tourists in Mexico. 4 America's were just kidnapped in the northern Mexico border crossing.
I am glad you enjoy your trip or better adventure to Mexico. If police stops you they just look for some „breakfast money“ I call it. Enjoy and stay save!
Mexico is badass. The people are cool as hell too. The cartel stuff usually doesn’t affect tourism especially if your a respectful visitor. The cartels depend on tourism for a giant chunk of their revenue and if there is a huge stink about Americans dying and being kidnapped, it takes money out of their pockets. Americans just visiting on vacation for the vast majority of the time, need not worry.
A couple reasons. Drinking the water in Mexico has long been a concern and a joke. We installed new filters and wanted to confirm that they indeed did work and it was the continuation of a funny story from our last video.
@@LessJunkMoreJourney Not just Mexico. I was not healthy enough to go but my former church did mission work in La Ceiba Honduras. Drinking Water in any of the developing countries was always a concern. AFAIK they were cautioned to only drink water out of bottle's.
Living on the border for 20 years and making untold number of trips into Mexico...if you're drinking the water you are playing Russian roulette...the odds will get you and you will KNOW YOU'VE BEEN HAD!🤣😂

You guys are so brave to travel into Mexico because of all the craziness in the world. But I am so glad we get to watch. Be safe.

I’m so glad Hensley gave that advice about not licking tires! 😂🤣
Right?!
I've been thinking/planning a trip/drive from NorCal down to Todos Santos so I really appreciate your video. Safe travels!
Thank you so much.
Glad you guys are doing Mexico oh, cuz I have no urge to go down there. Enjoy and keep the great videos coming.

You can also park right in the Square in San Ignacio. It’s fun to be in town and go to the restaurants or bars.
Beautiful place, tgat roadwith tge Cactus 🌵 reminded me of Southern Arizona, enjoy and stay safe ❤️

Que dramático este gringo...en los Estados Unidos, matan en las escuelas, restaurante Mcdonald's, conciertos de lLas Vegas, iglesias etc.

It is a special place.

It depends. Lots of big trucks and some areas are more congested than others.
Looks like Hwy 8 going through SoCal. I can’t wait to take my Revel this winter for Baja.
Another Great Video… Cheers

Hey that’s our rig in the background at 2:24! I think we were camped by you guys at playa Requeson. Hope you’re having a great time in Baja!!

If y’all like this area you really should visit Big Bend National Park in Texas!!! Underrated Gem in the US!
That is a great park.
I would love to take my Class B to Baja small rig would be so much more fun
😮 I would not be able to take my family to Mexico. No way! Y’all be safe and get back up here! Not worth it.
Maybe you should try central and so america. So awesome. I think that "rv park" is someone's private property.
"Never Lick A Tire" -Hensley

So we should not comment that the landscape is so beautiful that is looks like another planet? This is wrong?
Enjoying following your journey. Safe travels LJMJ ❤🇬🇧
Thanks so much!
Be careful! 4 Americans were just kidnapped by the Cartel just south of Texas.
We have heard, thank you.
There are some beautiful places in Mexico and the majority of the people are wonderful. Buttttt, I'm just not crazy about driving an RV in, lol !
That’s why we went smaller!
Excellent adventure!
Thanks! 😃

That landscape looks a lot like the island of Curaçao in the Caribbean.
I really feel for all the stray dogs 😢
It is heartbreaking
I love the advice...Don't lick the tires...that was so cute
Great advice.
You kids should have seen Mex5 BEFORE all the improvements!!! (But I'm glad you didn't have to!)
Wow...driving looked tiring. Blessings
New T-shirts "Never Lick a Tire"
Be careful, it didn't go well, in the movie were the millers.
You should be happy your not driving some of our roads in Australia. Those that you are on are highways compared to some of ours. Stay safe
The State Department has issued a travel warning for Baja. Please be very careful!
Roads in Illinois are almost as good as those roads.
Check points are rattling 😮
Dr. Suess trees? Those are Boojum trees!
Sounds like Nathan dropped a deuce before the checkpoint lol
Did y'all consider alligators or crocodiles at that last site? Great video as always.
We are always watching. 😀

Glad you enjoyed it, thank you.

Thank you Hensley, that is one more bad habit I need to stop.
If we only help one person then it was worth it. 😀
Yeah I am getting a 4x4 before I go to Baja lol
Don’t lick tires…check
Please remember this 😀
I suspect you all have water filters or water purification systems on your RV. So why make such a big deal about the water?
A couple reasons. Drinking the water in Mexico has long been a concern and a joke. We installed new filters and wanted to confirm that they indeed did work and it was the continuation of a funny story from our last video.

Wait until you get to the roads that all only dirt and badly graded. Not the same 7 hrs at all.
For Mexico translate into Spanish.....here in Mexico.........we are all the same......the visitors...are no more...........
Never attempt to pet a stray dog in Mexico unless you want your hand to be dog food.
