Most unexpected and possibly the best fight in the cour. Renji lived up to the expectations.
They say good guys have plot armor but it's kinda the opposite in Bleach. Even Renji would be OP if he were an antagonist. Just look at Uryu.
Not a plot armor. Uryu joined stenritters in the beginning of the arc and some characters said he is special. Quilge (idk his name) and Yhwach, who precisely named him his successor. He killed a zero division member in her Bankai and if you read the manga you know this is not plot armor.
@@AndreSilva-et7ur Yes, I know how/why he defeated her, I've read the manga too... But still... Uryu never seemed special before this arc. Yes, he did get power-ups thanks to Yhwach, but no more power is greater than the power of being an "enemy." Grimmjow, for example, doesn't seem that powerful now that he isn't an enemy anymore. I'm not saying it's exactly a bad thing; I understand villains must "scare you" and the good guys must make you "scared for them." But... it's just kinda annoying if you think about it.
@@shadi6484 Man everyone is talking about this all of a sudden power calling Bleach put out in this arc. I understand, we go like "WTF if this dude had this so much power how the hell he didn't use it before when that shit happened". And about Grimmjow, that's a shame really, but it happens with almost all anime and comics. Look at how Naruto and Sasuke were nerfed in Boruto... Every time Goku gets a new form, the previous ones have to be nerfed and a stronger enemy needs to show up out of the blue. It's like Grimmjow had his moment in his arc and there are so many characters to work on now that the anime decided to do it. Bleach would run out of budget for battles like this and time as well. But I feel you.

I hate how kubo did not even make blood appear on uryu ? Because obviously uryu being immobilized for 20S is impossible considering the nature of his power.
Kubo just wanted to show how destructive renji's technique was but the fact that uryu is still uninjured is irritating i swear to GoD.
At least make blood appear on uryu, do the thing right.

Dude killed a zero division member in her Bankai and proceeded walking without a scratch. Yes... Blunt is so powerful that it endured 15 million degrees from Yamamoto Bankai flames. The same temperature of the sun.
Uyru was buffed hard
The elites are way above most captains one on one, with possible match up exceptions and other unique oddities.
Renji is strong but Uryu has far surpassed him.
Uryu/the guards need hax abilities, Uryu especially with any fight he has before it's revealed he's playing a double agent in the manga (not a spoiler because it was super obvious lol)
