It's a really fun suit to me but I agree it does need a damage buff. A small nitpick I have with this suit is I think his funnels need a bigger ASL reticle or further lock on range.
This suit has alot to compete with (Re-GZ Custom and Rebawoo) so I'm not surprised that the player base finds it lackluster. Definitely seems to have a fun kit to mess with. Nice round with the Delta Kai! 👍
If Rebawoo didn't exist, you'd still be hard-pressed to pick this since ZZ also exists. ZZ deals more damage in a shorter time IMO and has a stronger ranged stun combo, as well as its melee being a really solid deterrent for getting up close too. I only rolled because I love the DK's design, but anytime I play it it feels like I'm just hoping the funnels hit enough to MA break someone who's moving.
Honestly, this is my first time really observing your ground playstyle and you really remind me of my self. You know when to play it safe and when to push, how to stack the stun and positioning to your advantage, and you know how to take risks, even if there's a small chance that risk may not play out well. Good gameplay. My only reccomendation is tweaking the build to favor HP to take advantage of the n_i_t_r_o system. A couple of good HP parts, some solid resistance, and all the damage you can fit in with the space you have left can definitely do the trick. I don't even have the suit yet (I only had 75 tokens and I promised myself to stop spending after the Unicorn update) however from your stream last night I think I recall it having decent slots. Your build definitely seemed to be a work in progress seeing as you kept changing it around. I notied lots of Beam and Melee defense stacked with some ranged damage. You already had a good idea where to start with what I saw before I passed out lol.
The idea of paying/farming for this, although it is one of my favorite suits (along with the Delta Plus, which just won't drop for me), had me thinking of laying off the game since we know it's about a month until the next step-up. But I'm kind of happy to see it's not meta breaking and won't be taking the place of the ReGZ Custom at 650, which has been my favorite suit to play for a few months now. Now to wait until Halloween, when we hopefully get a Support that balances out 700, and the RX-0s a bit. Rozen Zulu sounds like the perfect suit for that, though I know you and many others hoped it would be a raid. But the FA Unicorn, HWS Nu, or any ballistic based support could gain quite a bit of strength just based on how the meta uses parts towards everything but ballistic defenses. Otherwise, I'm staying out of 700 rooms for the sake of not feeling like every game is one big ball of Unicorn melee.
Delta Kai seems interesting, but don’t think it stacks up quite as well to a monster like the Re-GZ Custom. Seems tempting, but probably gonna wait for things to pan out or probably most likely skip.
Hm, really? No wonder i often win with regz custom 😂 I also kinda tempted with delta kai But upon your comment said that regz custom is more monstrous, i really agree with that 😂

yeah, at this point I'm honestly tired of running into double or triple stacked unicorn teams.
Yeah if I didn't have an alt account with tokens ready to go I wouldn't have rolled. Especially if I knew how mid it would be.

While the Waverider mode of the DK is phenomenal, the damage that this can deal, for me, is a bit lower than the ReGZ Custom which imo isn't that bad.
Feels like a glorified gundam mklll but has superb mobility and enough time to combo rifle-sideswing-forwardswing-repeat.
Sadly am not doing the step up for this cause it's a hassle farming tokens weekly 😪
Hot damn the damage output is low, hope it gets some value buffs in the future with it being a 4* and whatnot...

Yeah in its current state idk if its worth it. There are definitely way better options.
