    CELEBRATING THE LIFE OF DEACON PAUL NZIOKA BURIAL 1942 - NOVEMBER 2023
    BIRTH
    The late Deacon Paul Nzioka was born in 1942 at
    Kwakatia village, Uvaleni Sublocation, Mukaa Sub
    county, Makueni county. He was the third born of
    the late Philip Nzioka Kiting’o and late Ruth
    Nthemba. He was brother to Julius Malonza,
    Jackson Kivuva, David Kinyumu, late Musili, Grace
    Katule Kimanthi, John Maweu and Harrison
    Kyule.
    Marriage And Family
    The late Deacon Nzioka got married to his lovely
    wife Anna Ndunge Susu on 14th February, 1968,
    and they were blessed with 6 children; Kiting’o,
    Mbula, Musyoka, Musomba, Mwanzia and Muyu.
    He was father-in-law to Elizabeth, Late Jonathan
    Makau, Judy, Rebecca, Angeline and Janet. He was
    a loving grandfather to Lilian, Mercy, Nicole,
    Emmanuel, Sandra, Andrew, Ruby, Kelly, Joshua,
    Alisa and Caleb. He was the great-grandfather to
    Blessedeve.
    Christian Life
    The late Deacon Paul Nzioka was a staunch
    member of the Africa Brotherhood Church where
    he was baptized.In his early Christian life he was a
    member of A.B.C Muua and later joined A.B.C
    Kwakatia. He relocated to Kwale village and joined
    other Christians in the establishment of A.B.C
    Kwale and later A.B.C Ngokomi. Due to his
    dedication and devotion in serving God, he was
    ordained to a Lay-Leader and later to a Deacon.
    The late Deacon Nzioka was a devoted Christian
    church leader who served earnestly, passionately
    and faithfully as chairman of A.B.C Ngokomi and
    treasurer of Ngokomi sub-pastorate until his
    demise.
    Community Life
    Deacon Nzioka was a pillar and a trusted man in
    the community. He diligently served in various
    community projects including;
    a. Kiene Ngundu as a Secretary
    b. Musimamo as a Treasurer
    c. Kwale Health Center
    d. Kwale water Project
    e. Kwale Primary School
    f. Compassion Kwale
    g. Konza South/Ikumbi
    Education
    The late Deacon Paul Nzioka attended Muua
    Primary School where he sat for the competitive
    Common Entrance Examination (CCEE) and
    passed well. He went for his intermediate studies
    at the Kasikeu School and sat for his Kenya African
    Preliminary Examination(KAPE) and performed
    well.He then proceeded to Uganda for form 1 and
    returned to Kenya and joined Kenya Indian High
    School in Mombasa where he sat for Cambridge
    Certificate of Examinations and passed well. The
    late Deacon Nzioka had a passion for education
    which drove him to Embu Agricultural College
    where he obtained a certificate in Agriculture in
    July 1965.
    Work Life
    The late Deacon Nzioka started his working career
    as an agricultural extension officer in Mua Hills
    and Kiima Kimwe Settlement Scheme in Iveti
    location, Machakos district, currently Machakos
    County, after which he moved to Mukaa location
    currently Mukaa Sub County where he served
    until his retirement in 1997. Upon his retirement,
    he dedicated his time in farming and community
    service until he was called to glory.
    Sickness And Demise
    The late Deacon Nzioka was in good health all
    through his life until 2019 when he was diagnosed
    with prostate cancer, which he bravely fought
    until his demise on the 29th November 2023 at The
    Coptic Mission Hospital Nairobi.
    Appreciation
    As a family we thank God for the years we lived with our father and
    sincerely acknowledge the services we received in Kajiado level 4 hospital,
    Sultan Hamud Sub County Hospital, Machakos level 5 hospital, Bishop
    Kioko and The Coptic Mission Hospital Nairobi. We extend our sincere
    gratitude to all the clergy who diligently prayed and supported us. Lastly
    we acknowledge our neighbors and friends for standing with us during
    this time of need.
