Really good video. Explaining what to do, step by step for people who have no expierence with this. I remember my first pc u built, and i still use it and how hard and difficult and stressfull it was for me since i had just a little expierence. instructive video, helpfull. :)
Great guide mate, always see tons of actual build guides on YT but never too many videos like this. Had to help a few of my friends who've built their first systems and then said "what now" lol. I do pretty much everything you mentioned here as well when upgrading or building my systems, with the exception of updating the BIOS. If everything is working fine I wouldn't touch that tbh, I've found with AM5 at least BIOS updates are very hit and miss and some cause memory errors etc. A friend of mine had to RMA his Asus board as 2 of his RAM slots stopped functioning after a BIOS update. Great video as always mate hope you are doing well 👍
Thanks Matt- yeah I agree tbh bios updates are a pain and if all is working it's better to leave alone unless you really need too. This video won't do well but I wanted to make it as loads of people ask me so many questions what do you do etc - thanks as mormal pal
currently in the process of getting the parts. stuck on the cpu, im leaning towards intel but i dont know if i should just get the 14900k or wait for arrow lake.
I also go into services and turn off Connected User Experiences and Telemetry and Location Services. Then uninstall every piece of "bloatware" in Windows. Xbox Live, Maps, My Phone, Camera, etc. Finally, I do like to look for Windows Optional Updates and gauge is there is something worth installing. Hope that adds to someone's setup experience.
Nice! I'm literally getting the pieces of equipment together to build my first gaming PC and I was wondering how I was going to do this. Cheers.
Oh wicked good luck on the build and hopefully it will help 🙏 thanks 4 watching

How many people are building a new gaming PC? Do you do simular to this or nor let me know?

Ohhh nice 14900k is a banging cpu but personally I would wait as it will be a new socket and would be easier to get a cpu upgrade too 😉

Imagine building all Black with no RGB, press the power button and thinking: “Wait, is it on?”
Lol 😆 I built more pcs than most people had hot dinners - the surprise is to ensure all the rgb is working.
