Appreciate these videos! After feeling nostalgic for Digimon for a while I decided to get into the TCG and your informative deck profiles have been super helpful, definitely going to be building my own Mastemon deck in the near future with all the tips in mind!
@@gekikudo I find you play it more than digivolve it and it just ends up in trash often enough at 1 or 2 that the cost is worth the tradeoff for the utility.
It's for the added card to hand, but I think it's worse than kari by a bit. If you've ever play tested tk you know you hit those times where there's no yellow card in security and since you must take one, you basically do a security check on yourself lmao I definitely see why people would run it, but it's far too risky for my tastes
So I tied 1st with Mastemon yesterday, beating an alphamon and blackwargreymon deck, lost to shoutmon. I did a play by calling a black gatomon with mastemon and getting an extra hit in so I do like it over macoomon. I have the Salamons in my deck, though they didn't come up as much as I'd hope for.
The issue with that is these decks arent MENT to be budget. Like competitive Mastemon decks have always been expensive. Because there is alternatives for their most expensive cards, but those alternatives aren't as good. If you want fun decks that are budget: go for Imperial or yellow hybrid and other such decks. They are tier 2 but wont break your bank.
Mastemon is unplayable on a budget, the deck is terrible. Lucemon and magna are MANDATORY. Only builds you will see calling themselves budget will be pretty terrible
Love it! Btw, you think One Piece is good as an investment? Buddies and me bought few boxes to put away for a few years, resell in the future for very first one. What you think Mario?
I always watch him saying "best deck" "tier 1" deck. These cards make an insane play and it's a tourney win combo, but I've never seen him play any of it to see ourselves that he's actually right. Not to offend or anything like that here, but I can't believe a deck list being tier 1 or 0 by just showing the list and not seeing any test video to prove it. I've seen videos where he's playing Evo Cups or something like that, but it's a quick video of 1 round out of 8 u play and it's with a meta deck. I stopped watching these videos because I don't believe his "tier 1" "best deck in format" shit anymore. I watch the japense ones or videos where they always show u testing. And that way u can always see if that deck list is good or not. My recommendation to the channel is showing more testing with deck list and less deck lists only.

I'd play neodevimon over maycrack. It's a fallen angel so it's a one cost over gato and it's inheritable turns off zenjiro and makes x4 cost one more.
Maycrack has its uses too. Like it being a yellow/purple and it hitting 9k with hellscythe in security to kill the x4

Surprised there’s no dead or alive in this deck when you have targets that can abuse the card.
