Update on the Press/Release thing: I was wrong, "Press" is not the actuation point. In fact, the keypad does not have an actuation point at all (deadzone is something slightly different), rapid trigger is enabled over the full range (which some people may dislike/can't get along with), with press/release being the down/up sensitivity you know from Wootility.
Update 07/31/23: I talked with sayo, the creator, and apparently deadzone is *kind of* an actuation point since the deadzone is in fact only introduced at the top. Although you cannot specify it in milimeters *yet*, only in raw sensors values. It ranges from 0-255, making it useful for the chinese switches that have a poor range but on Lekkers or Gateron KS-20 with range of 1000+ you're kind of restricted with that 0-255 raw value.

@@bobbybenny12 it's not. The deadzone is basically to reduce wrong inputs through keycap tilting etc.
The deadzone is also introduced at the bottom, meaning you would have to lift much further up for rapid trigger to release
Update: It seems deadzone is not introduced at the bottom, it's still not an official actuation point, according to statements by sayo. I'm currently trying to figure out how things work

Press ( Actuation Point ) 40x0.05mm= 2 millimeters
Release ( Reset Point ) 36x0.05mm= 1.8 millimeters

Ive been using this keypad for more than 2 months and it was so worth it. And I had no issues buying the keypad since I live in hong kong and my mom always uses taobao. Oh also, it is still working fine and isnt showing any sign of breaking

As a ~$15 keypad with button calculator on screen and many customize settings option, it's totally worth it if you want to experience rapid trigger.
However shipping fee is an issue (im in hk so shipping fee is only ~$1)

As an O3C user for well over a month, I can confirm that this 15 dollar keypad DOES HELP YOUR SPEED by a lot, like literally I can pass 400BPM STREAMS with press 0.1 and release 0.2. Considering the price of this keypad is just 15 dollars while other osu simpads are bascially the same price, this keypad surely is one of the best osu keypads ever made in human history o7 (ALSO I AM SO SAD THAT MCY4 CAN'T GO TO ROUNDTABLE BIG F TO VISA)

@@KyorYuuNa72727 there is permanent rapid trigger on out of the box, the firmware is just for updates on the keypad and the setting menu of the 03C is just for more custom opinions, but the setting is still easy to access and did provide and English version as shown in the video (there is also a Saul device website in the video where you can change the output of the keys and RGB!）

@@hezi5729 with the default helio switch, I prefer 0.1mm press and 0.2 release with 10 deadzone for maximum speed (deadzone should be higher so clicks are more stable but I just want speed). For acc I change the 0.2 to 0.6 and deadzone should be about 25. However if u change the helio to gateron switches, you can do 0.1 release with 35 deadzone as the best setting (in my opinion)

I have used it for a couple weeks now one issue I have with it is that it scoots along my desk so in longer songs I find myself needing to reach further and further along my desk. Can't wait for the wooting uwu to come in the extra weight will keep it in place as well as the 3 extra buttons will allow me to bind more than just escape to it
Lick the rubber pads on the bottom or make them wet, the moisture makes it sticky. It's even stickier than my normal keyboard.

Aliexpress has the same options but im not too sure if it is the same price, maybe slightly more expensive, i hate the whole rapid trigger always enabled thing and the confusing press and release, you can change your actuation point if im not wrong, i own this device and it is a pain to tune to my liking, but id say for $30 AUD it is the best keypad i own (waiting on the wooting uwu)
If there is/was a four key version of this, us 4k mania and taiko players would probably be lovin this. (No I have not looked into it because I don't want the headace of trying to search around the site I wouldn't really understand)

Naughty points in Taobao are actually good, they are points that you can spend on items. I'm pretty sure 1000 naughty points is around 20 dollars worth in australian dollars.

Is it recommended to set the Press at 30x0.05mm like Ed did?
as someone who plays comp r6 i must say that polling rate/hz isn't necessarily good.
many games bug out if you have a to high polling rate in r6 everthing above 1000hz is for me unplayable when it comes down to mice polling rate while keyboard hz are the higher the better (or at least until 8000hz never tried anything higher don't even know if there are keyboards with over 8k hz).
as an example i use a mouse polling rate of 500 for r6 eventhough my mouse can go up to 4k but i also heard that many people only use 250 since erverything above is not working probably.
also i played a long time ago minecraft in a more or less competitiv area and there it is the same many mods who are designed to better the performace of your pc give you the message that you shouldn't use a polling rate above 250.
another detail is that most people can't tell the diffrence between 500 and 1000+.
also i doubt that there is even a single person who can tell a diffrence between 1k, 4k, 8k+ polling rate.
The last thing i wanna say is that polling rates of 1k or higher have a tend to put a heavier load on to the CPU.

High keyboard polling rates don't lag, since the keyboard isn't constantly sending data to your OS unless you're tapping many keys at the same time.

@@louisBrother1988 I'm not sure what you are getting at. OSU can detect as many different key buttons as you want. You simply map the buttons on the sayodevice o3c to the respective keys on the keyboard that you have mapped in OSU.
@@MrGamerholic yea and you can't do that on a normal keyboard, or at least not the one I'm using at the moment. And osu! also doesn't allow that in their controls settings. So that's amazing! I'm for sure buying one then! Thanks!
