Funny thing is something like this happened to me. One of my old friends recently broke up with his gf then started talking to me (i liked him at the time) he said he liked me then i said i liked him but we didn't date because i promised my dad to wait till im 18 so like a 2 week later he started to stop talking to me and a month later i found out him and his ex got back together. Hopefully this has a better ending then mine
