1/50th Scale Radio Control J Class Model - Construction Update 2

This catches you up with progress; the hull is well formed and the deck applied. Math calculations for Center of Effort &Centre of Lateral Resistance were tested in bath-tub, with dummy keel and rudder (yet to be built). This is to confirm that their shape and location will produce a balanced helm & good behaviour in stronger winds. I obviously cannot use a scaled down version of the real rudder and keel, since the sail plan cannot be scaled exactly, owing to the need for a foresail boom, vice a 125% genoa (too complex to tack on a model). She's looking good so far!
