Thank you for keeping medium/heavy strategic games out here for all to enjoy. You give some of the best rules explanations and most definitely best gameplay on YT. Just enough table talk to keep it fun w/o being distracting. Thanks!

Thanks for running this, it was great to hear Edward starting to "feel the love". I play with the "more stuff" modules added in by default, but I've yet to play with anyone who has played often enough to make adding in the "extra stuff" worthwhile. Having seen it in action now, I'm not sure that I'd bother either with the purple die, or with the ramparts. IMO the purple die is necessary if you use the ramparts because you want an extra die to use once per round. Take away the ramparts and the extra die means that you have too many dice in the game. For me, the ramparts don't seem to add anything very worthwhile - they are just an extra location with the activities revealed "up front", but only *accessible* later (instead of *revealed* later as with the II & III activity cards). *Great* base game and a worthwhile, but not stellar, expansion.

Thank you for the playthrough with Ladies. I haven't seen the expansion being played before.
I think Ladies really improves the game, especially the extra purple die and the cards.
It's a pity that they don't reprint Troyes+Ladies and sell it for a good and fair price. And please include the expansion in the basegame box without making the box bigger. And please keep the artworks! :)

The cards in the base game seemed like the weakest part of the game to me, but the cards are much more interesting in the expansion based on what you had come out.
