I think the problem is that in Spanish "clothes" is singular, so she kinda messed up. The translation is: la ropa (clothes) me queda grande. That's the only solution I found to Lauren's mistake aka The Grammar Queen.

In spanish, clothes is a singular word, I mean, she has two languages in her head, I think her brain confuses her...
For sure is because she speaks Spanish. My native language is Spanish and I had to read that sentence three times before I realized what was wrong haha, the word for "clothes" in Spanish is "ropa" and it is always singular.

Native English speakers doesn't really give that much thought about their grammar, I mean it's not a big deal for them whether they follow proper usage of words and sentence construction. While for English learners it's a kind of a big deal because they study proper sentence constructions, tenses, etc. yeah sooo #justsayin..:P
I am a Spanish native speaker and I feel the necessity of speaking it properly. And she also reads a lot and that gives you always more vocabulary (specially if her favourite book is To Kill a Mockingbird). At least in Spain we learn Spanish grammar and linguistics at school.

As a native English speaker, I disagree. However, I am the exception. I hate when people use incorrect grammar, but that’s just me. It bothers me so much. In conclusion, native English speakers (other than me) do not care about grammar at all. (Fell free to correct me on any of my grammar. I would love to learn the correct way.)

You know, if you see this it looks kind of alright when people constantly correct you. But I have a sister who always complains about my grammar mistakes and it is soo annoying. And sometimes she makes them herself too.
