@@MomsMoneyMindsetyea it’s hard, our birthdays are a week apart which is a week before Thanksgiving and a month before Christmas 😢 And the holidays were her favorite but she lived a full life and with that I’m comforted and thankful.

12:53 This is my why! I quit my job yesterday because it was not serving my needs. My mental health has been suffering for quite some time as I worked for a company that does not place value in its employees. Today is the first day in a very long time that I didn't wake up with a sick panic in my stomach because I had to go to a place that I disliked being at. Thank you, Nakisha, for keeping it REAL! I am also going to start an Etsy store this month. I have 6 kids (4 young adult boys) and 2 younger (9 yr old boy and 7 yr old girl I homeschool!). I have 50k in school loan debt I need to get rid of. I am working with one of my adult sons (that has high functioning Asperger’s and extreme social anxiety) to build different streams of online income so he can leave his high stress day job in the next year and buy his first home! 😅🎉❤

Hi Nakisha! Let me first start by sending my condolences for your loss. That can be a really hard thing to share, but know that moment that you decided not to edit out, will end up being a blessing to someone else... I hope that makes sense. Second, let me say... I actually watched this New Year's Eve. It popped up on my phone while my husband and I were driving the kids to Calloway Gardens to see a Christmas Light Show... now you know somebody rocks with you when you listen to their YT video with your husband for him to listen to as well...LOL 🤣🤣 Anyway, I had to wait until I had the time to type my thoughts from my desktop. EVERYTHING you said resonated with me so much and I so appreciate how honest and real you ALWAYS are. There are so many people out here trying to come up on YT and you know when people are being real, verses trying to market everything even when they have no idea what they are taking about. I appreciate the perspective, encouragement and the reminders that it is a challenge trying to grow businesses, be wife, be mommy, be sister, be daughter, be all the things you have to be for everyone else and to stop and acknowledge ourselves. To give ourselves GRACE. To pour into ourselves because we can't be anything to anybody IF we don't give US what we need too. I am soooo BIG on self care because what many women -people don't realize is that our self care- self love is directly related to our capacity to grow our financial wealth. It is a must! You have been so motivating in ways that you will probably never know, down to your way back in the day videos... one specifically when you were visiting a lot of land that you wanted to one day purchase a home on. That encouraged my soul so much... you have no idea. 😘 Continue being YOU as I know you will. You are encouraging so many women-moms to keep going despite the challenges by being an example that it can happen for us too as long as you don't quit. Don't worry with these haters, because when God is for you... the rest will become your footstool. I promise, I will never leave another lengthy comment like this again, lol but I had to do it this time! 😉 Be blessed, best wishes to you in 2024, and ALWAYS make time to refill your cup too!
