These are very unusual conditions in the MDR for late June. There is crazy ensemble support for the development for a hurricane (possibly a strong one) heading into the Caribbean over the next week AND ITS ONLY LATE JUNE!!! I wouldn’t trust it if only the GFS showed it but the latest 12Z ECMWF is on board.

Good evening Mitch! We just got hit with a really strong thunderstorm! The trees were spinning around and the rain and thunder were crazy!
