    For those who think it is 2 ppl, and some how the size of hand and color is different... Since this is in ripleys-believe-or-not I won't confirm one way or another, but somethings to think about: in order for this to be fake, I'll have to:
    1) Find another artist whose hands looks at least very much like mine / similar age / weight (I went to business school so it's not like I know many artist to begin with)
    2) The said artist would happen to be left handed
    3) The artist would have to be able to draw in the same style I do.
    4) We have to draw it practically making out since we have to squish close together for hours.
    5) This artist doing the drawing with me have to not ever talk about it.
    That seems like a lot of work and improbable? ALL of above have to be true for this to be fake. I feel like that would be more impressive lol. cheers guys.

      i think they are being jealous :) it is very common for a person to have a slightly different hand size.
      for example, my left bicep is bigger while my right tricep is bigger than the other one.

      Here is my take:
      While your artistic abilities are amazing, you simply switched your focus back and forth between drawings.
      (Slow down the video a bit buddy, there's no rush)
      Reason: To get attention to your channel.
      Conclusion: I think what you did was incredible marketing and that's the end of it. (later to be plagiarized btw)

      That is quite amazing! Are you natural ambidextrous or trained? I have been training to become full ambidextrous now for about five years and three months. By full ambidextrous I mean, that I throw with both arms, hit golf balls, play tennis, write. Everything that I do with my right I am training my left to do. I spend an amazing amount of energy on this. Trying to catch my left up to my right in strength and dexterity for all these tasks is a real challenge.

    I believe that the video is real. This person is drawing with both hands. If you watch really carefully, you will see that only one pencil is actually drawing at any one time which would indicate that there is one center of attention at all times. If this were faked, you would see both hands drawing at the same moments.
    I am also ambidextrous but can only draw left-handed. Never really put in the effort to get comfortable with drawing or writing right-handed but I'm certain I could. I have had odd situations when I found myself writing right-handed and didn't even realize it.
    Nice job.

    WOW. Do you have two heads? Being ambidextrous I can understand. But drawing two different faces at exactly the same time? Where do your eyes look?

    • @Subparanon
      @Subparanon 8 років тому +3

      The eye likes to scan even if you're concentrating on one thing, it has to constantly dart around in order for us to hold an image in our minds.
      The real thing going on here isn't the eye it's limb independance, something that you mostly see developed in dancers and drummers. With careful practice over a long period of time you can train your body to ignore crosstalk between your two limbs. Drummers do this all of the time so their hands and feet don't mimic each other.
      Since drawing realistic art further requires you to be able to ignore the cognitive dissonance between the two hemispheres of the brain, the ambidexterity is just a further evolution of this persons dedication to filtering out dissonance in their mind and their limbs. Drawing is learning to ignore the part of the mind that wants each line to represent something, and concentrate on what you actually see in terms of light and dark. One part of your mind wants to draw symbols for something 'this line is the eye, that line is the mouth' and the other part of the brain sees the whole and sees things as light and dark. You get both impressions at the same time, but have to ignore one to do the other.

      Sassy Lass
      It's like patting your head and rubbing your belly at the same time, while also looking at a bunch of words printed in different colors and saying the color of the ink, not the color the word spells.

    • @sassylass9305
      @sassylass9305 8 років тому

      Wow. Can everyone do that if they practice? Or does it take some special "mutation" like being able to write with both hands, or having your left & right brain lobe severed as they do (or used to do) for some epilepsy patients?

    • @Subparanon
      @Subparanon 8 років тому +1

      Yeah practice can get you far. The surgery you're talking about is a hemispherectomy and they can do it without practice, but then again they have to concentrate to hold a dinner plate with both hands. I've been using both hands at once with independence as long as I can remember using my hands. In the same way I don't remember not being able to walk, I don't remember not being able to draw a circle and a square at the same time. Nothing like this guy though.
      But when I learned how to drum I had to have 4 limbs working together, but also with independence and that was harder but became easier with practice.

    The two faces have the same up strokes and down strokes...It's like reading handwriting. It's possible to forge a signature but the other hand would have to be a close friend or family member who's done this for years. It's much easier for one person to just do a two-handed drawing. If it's like everyone here says, and he's using another person or even just tracing, it's still a good show and still unique.

      Left hand => Right hand => Left hand => Right hand =>......=> Change the speed of video up => The shutter will be looked like zero, isn't it? I'm curious. Not only mention about brain, but only the eyes can't see to the two points which are far from to each other.
