Used to go to the Oval in the early 70s to watch the Glens .Would get lifted over the turnstiles by supporters . Great times. I moved away in 77 and still have dreams and pangs. No offence but when I was a kid, Connswater was a smelly open sewer, and I laughed when I saw an ad for Connswater McDonalds. Anyway, great memories and up the Glens 👍👌
@@tomblack6965, closed 20 years ago and flats/ apartments built and the bakery is gone as well. You can use Google maps to "drive" around your old haunts but the city has changed (for the better) massively. No Sydenham Wine Team either, their livers packed in :)
