I hope you can respond , but I’m having the same issue! ECV740 kohler replaced stator and flywheel because magnets came loose. Did testing and from the middle insert on the rectifier to ground/battery I get 0 . Do I definitely have a bad rectifier? Because if I juice pack jumó the battery it turns on but slowly after about 5 mins dies off.
Hello there! Yes this would cause the unit not to start again because the battery keeps going dead. Once you jump it again it starts and runs for a while yes?
@@IndRepair yup considering it’s a brand new battery aswell, I can jump it as many times , it will just end up shutting off after the battery drains. Thank you! I appreciate your quick response, Looking forward to seeing new content

Good job!! Thanks for watching!!
My rectifier black connector is melting. Ordered a new one. 1999 Craftsman riding mower. Good times.
Sure is fun times! Thanks for watching!
Just went through this with a Kawasaki. Found out that I fried the voltage regulator with a jump starter.
Definitely see it a lot. Remove a jump pack or cables soon as a mower starts to prevent this from ever happening
Ya stripped them out. You should have hand tightened them going into the housing.
@@IndRepairread my post mechanic lol
Not stripped, both tightened up good
