Dear Cruz, thank you for the insightful content, however regarding the IT sector uve talked about, I have a qn to ur table that if one migrates to the US with a background bachelors degree in IT with and some international certifications such as Cisco, Microsoft mcse, amazon AWS, kubernettes, with work experience in tech for abt 10 years,is it possible for one to continue in his career! Thanks
@@HerbertMuhirif you can prove the skill, you can hired with the certifications… IT and tech is highly competitive in the US so you should work on the skill set..look at the jobs snd the rewuired skills, if you can deliver on those skills ,you are good to go. If self taught get hired, then skills in IT and tech are crucial

I didnt study IT but educated my self and good with linux esp backtrack and social engineering, it could probably open doors for me, am in UAE and earning 14k Aed a month, I wonder weather the US would be a viable option, pls advise.

I wish Ugandans in the diaspora could surround themselves with Kenyans and Nigerians your minds will be opened. Ssebo those smart jobs with fat salaries have their downside full of high end corporate drugs, loneliness, stress, depression full time, etc. Americans grow and thrive in their manual jobs and live quality lives in small cities. Ugandans just want quick get rich stores no organic generation plus don't seem to comprehend services as a livelihood.
I think one should surround themselves with those who add to him/her or who challenge them to move to the next level, not necesarily nigetians or kenyans.. Wealth can be grown through various routes of investment, not working for paycheck to paycheck. We definately need a source of income which can be business or working for others for a pay.. When you get your check…save part of it and make sure you have a plan in place on how you will grow those savings ..most definately through investing so you can reach that point where money is working for you.. What Mr.Lubega should have talked about is that, IT and Tech in USA is competitive..IT is evolving really fast so one has to keep up with new changes to keep relevant in this field ..depression and frustration can easily come in due to need to keep up or enter/land a job.. I wanted him to talk on the advancement in AI and any impacts it has on the field..

You will have to go back to school.very few people have a chance to enter the job market directly.
