My 2004 tundra just has one piece and it’s a valve as well. I talked to Toyota about it and its 160$ he said it seems it made out of different plastic. I wonder if it needs to be replaced?
Thanks for posting this. Is it mandatory to pull the radiator cap when you start this process? Or did you just do that because the coolant was warm?
@@joepea419 engine was hot so there was risk. Ideally it’s better not to if you have hose clamps as it helps hold a vacuum and minimize leaks
Nice! Mine only have 141k miles. Do you know when they should be done?
@@heismyrefuge1027 I’d recommend doing it at every timing belt at minimum. Since coolant is gonna be drained. Best time to do it
