Streamer fishing has always caught bigger fish. I have been using small streamers in two rigs and caught plenty of 8-18 inch trout and smallmouth in smaller waters. Great story snd video. It can be lonely hunting for the fish of a lifetime especially throwing big stuff all day. But the reward is worth it. Best streamer advice I have heard in long time. Don’t get caught on a rhythm of strip strip strip in. Cool video Lived out west fished out here most out of my life. Want to go to the ozarks some day for sure
Thank you for uploading some great videos. After fishing both saltwater and freshwater all my life using "conventional" tackle, at 40 years old I felt compelled to learn to fly fish. I have decided to start out by streamer fishing exclusively and purchased a TFO BVK 7wt/3-Tand TF 70. It has been a wonderful experience combining what I have learned over the years to a new method. Channels like this have made the educational process fun and entertaining. Keep up the great work!

I feel like, and have noticed that the "big streamer" era of fly fishing is over. I dont see anyone throwing big streamers, or even much larger than 3-4 inches. Certainly nothing with 2 hooks.
