I heard this song many times as a young boy 50 years ago. My elderly Father has health issues now and doesn't walk very well anymore, but one day, very soon, we as Christians will see Hallelujah Square and Praise our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for eternity. I Love listening to Greater Vision and their testimony for Christ. PRAISE GOD!!
I got a good friend that's already passed away & this song fits him perfectly cause he was crippled & walking with crutches & he's always said that he was gonna walk right some day & my friend was in a wheelchair & couldn't walk no more & he passed away from covid 19 bout a couple years ago.
The tenor has a great voice and not only that, he sings with inspiration. It is so great listen this guys. Gerald Wolfe is a fantastic communicator and has the gift to attract people attention wherever he goes and when he speaks. God bless you singers.
I probably post a comment every time I listen 🎶 ✝️❣😁 This is so special. It evokes sweet memories of one of the first times I ever sang with my 3 older sisters in Church, just before our dear Daddy stood in the pulpit and shouted(like a Baptist🥳) & preached about Heaven❣GW, CA and Rodney, y'all sing this for Tony✝️, and the Savior he loves, EVERY chance you get! And GW, keep telling its wonderful story! Thank you for serving Jesus! Thank you for keeping the legendary Tony Greene forever in our hearts ❣ Now y'all get safely to FT. WORTH TX SWBTS asap and SING JESUS & Hallelujah Square! (SWBTS: that's where my Daddy❤ graduated with HONORS over 40yrs ago😁🙏)BLESSINGS TO YOU AND YOUR FAMILIES ✝️
Hallelujah Square was the first song l sang when l started singing solos in church in 1980 and l really miss Tony Greene whom l spoke to a few times and was l ever floored when l found out he had passed and that Taranda was getting married in March.l really loved The Greenes and l cried tearsof sorrow and also tears of joy and l wish Taranda the best in her new life
The best rendition of Haleluiah Square Ive ever heard was from Les Beasely and the Florida Boys. Far more 4 part harmonizing that gets better n better. God Bless you Les.
Wonderful song. God loves us and Jesus died for our sins to be forgiven and we can have Heaven as our eternal home, Please accept Jesus as your Savior if you have not already. God bless all.
The song "Hallelujah Square" Was written be The late Ray Overholt. He was I great man along with his wife Millie. I'm glad I got to know and have Ray Overholt as my personal friend. I miss talking to him one the phone. He will be GREATLY Missed. I love ya RAY.
@@narkdschawngthu7723 I grew up in Michigan singing gospel music in another family group...sang and travelled at various sings alongside Ray & Millie for many years (he was like another Grandpa to me, and he and Millie were the sweetest people you could ever hope to meet!). He's in Heaven now, passed away a few years ago. Interesting fact is...he was quite elderly, was completely blind, and could no longer walk at the time of his passing. Many of us were talking with Millie at the funeral home about the fact that Ray lived each verse of that song...NOW HE'S LIVING THE FINAL LINE! Also of note, he wrote a song "HE Could Have Called 10000 Angels", (NOT the country song written years later), while still a successful secular lounge singer, performing on television and such, and was not even a Christian yet. A band member of his said he needed a "Jesus" song for his act to sell more recordings. He got a Bible to use for research for that song, and got saved over the course of that process.
Chris is an enigma in Southern Gospel tenor singing. He only gets better with age. Many of them only last a few years because they sing with such poor technique, but this guy just gets better and better.

Loose all the talk before singing, just singing brother
P
This man is a hypocrite. Christians don't talk about others the way Gerald talked about Kirk Talley. I never watch this group.
AMEN ❤
