The worst thing for me about a Gopher Starfield play-through episode is when it ends. Living vicariously through these as I can’t afford the funds to update my PC or get a new one to play Starfield myself.
Gopher, congratulations on smashing through those goals on the Alzheimer's stream! Worthy cause, great people, and the community really knocked one out of the park. It was great to see!
Thanks :)
I love seeing all these real relics of space history in the game, very cool!
Victor Aiza may not want to tell you where he got his data, but if he had a sister, he'd sell her in a second.
I feel like ALL of us look at "semimetal wafer" and think it says "sentimental." I certainly know I did.
OMG! Gopher! There was a touching story in those tablets in the Nova Galactic moon base!
Idk why but all this explorer's history stuff was so much more interesting to experience through Malcomb's perspective than when i was discovering inside the facility myself
Check out the NASA moonbase again. Good number of slates scattered around the base, good lore =)
It's true. Something to consider, Gopher finished the game months ago. He even did NG+ 10 (unrecorded).
He said he would do it again, but the DLC had to be really good.. or something to that effect.
Also, hit NASA on Earth again look for all of the museum panels. One of them gives you a hidden location quest =)
Fancy seeing you here 😆
@@Robedon Oh yeah, always on the hunt to see the options i never took and outcomes from them, tryin to be useful where i can =)
Good to see you brother =)
@mikeymondavi you're most likely to spot me here when I'm not at 'home' as Gopher has been my main inspiration due to the similarities in our formative years 😆.
You need to think multiversally. Yes, some of the Starborn are almost identical to people you know, some are not, some are from a version of ancient Rome that had the Industrial Revolution 1,000 years earlier. Some from an Earth where the Neanderthals dominate, some from an Earth where intelligent Kangaroos topped the heap, some from another where intelligent spacefaring Velociraptors have been doing their thing for 50 million years. There's Earths where Fallout happened, where it's Skyrim, where the world is flat on 4 Elephants atop a turtle. Literally infinite possiblilities the vast majority of which have no Earth as we know it, but they still produce Starborn.
And, of course, there are Earths which are the exact same as each one you mentioned, but one blade of grass in 1985 Omaha, Nebraska bent northward instead of southward. Or the blade of grass next to it. So many possible combinations which are indistinguishable from another, unless you have a complete datamap of the entire universe, and can search for mismatch errors. Multiversal realities can even become boring, if you think about them enough... It's finding the interesting ones that's difficult. Even more so, but more satisfying, is making the reality you're currently in, into the best one. :)

That wouldn't be the original lunar lander, the bottom stage of the Eagle was left on the Lunar surface, remember?
Funny how he missed 2 slates
All the missed data slates!
Did you hear about the Irishman who was impervious to bullets?
His name was Rick O'Shea.
The days where you post videos with Starfield are the best days. They are so fun to watch for us who loves the game! Thanks a lot!
So apparently in this universe Mercer either survived Leonard's rath or Lenny never joined The Guild? Quantum Mechanics is so crazy!
"Dude that's a different game!"
What?!
Delvin Mallory's name is in the prisoner logs in the Lock on Suvarov.
Nice one! 🤩
Hey bud, such a great episode. Watching your videos are always a highlight of the day just because of the pure quality and effort you put in. Thank you. Take care and cheers from Canada 😊
Congratulations on raising $8,000 plus over the weekend to end Alzheimer's! And you mentioned several times on broadcast that you were going to be stopping Starfield because it's not a fan favorite. Although on past videos, I have been frustrated and posted things I really shouldn't have. I love this entire series of videos! Please don't stop now. I have actually saved every one of these videos to a special file just so I can see how you build your character and the Heavy Hopper.
Oh I won't stop uploading this series. I finished this let's play a while ago, and still have a few more episodes to upload. It's more a matter of whether or not I will start a new series or not.
I think Starfield will have its time to truly shine one day! It’s a great base for something good
I really hope Shattered Space has a Major Lore Dump like this for the Starbourne and where the artifacts come from.
It's pronounced Sentimental Waffle.
Please cover shattered space when it comes out Gopher. Loving the series :)
Currently on episode 62 😂 late to the party, I know. What mod is hiding the compass and bringing it up when in scanning mode?
Better HUD. But it's version 0.2.2 Sneak Peek. It was what the author was working on before he just seemed to stop updating the mod. But honestly, it works great as it is.

Speaking of needing a 'pair' to climb into that thing ... the first man in space went up in what was essentially the nose cone of an intercontinental ballistic missile ... pretty much the definition of strapping a rocket to your arse ...
