    If Djokovic wins the title this time (with his doubtful form, tough path to the finals and Sinner, Alcaraz in prime form). I'm convinced he's either an Alien, AI powered, or GOD incarnate.
    He's already past the GOAT statuses into demigod territory at this stage.

    Ever since 2023 AO I think we have seen a pattern with Novak that he doesnt play at his highest level in the first few rounds and almost gives off a vibe of not being at his best....some people even claim that a top 20 level player could take him out with such form and Novak is clearly not gliding through the tournament and can lose early...but as the tournament progresses we get to see Novak evolve and play at his peak level and simply destroy everyone.....

    • @fwvw7056
      @fwvw7056 Рік тому +2

    • @jonfreeman9682
      @jonfreeman9682 Рік тому +8

      Yeah he's been that way. He throttles his game based on the opponent. With low level players he's get by with 60% then elevates his game to 80% by the quarters and maybe 90% in the finals. Against the very best like Federer and Nadal he can turn on God mode and play at 120% if really pushed.

    Anyone else noticed that Joker doesn't bring out his A game unless he needs it. Usually he plays at 60-70% and it's enough. When pushed he can elevate to 90-100% and when he's up against the Federer and Nadal types he can turn on beast mode at 120% so right now he's throttling his game to save his best for last. Honestly can't see anyone challenging him.

    Right now, his level is looking precarious. While his closest rivals, Sinner and Alcaraz are looking very ominous. Especially the Italian.
    Will never bet against Novak, but right now, it looks like Jannik Sinner will lift the title. Djokovic will have to drastically lift his game to get past either Alcaraz or Sinner.

      Not sure how long it will last. Federer's physical decline began much earlier in around 2013, he managed to rejuvenized in 2017 and 2018 but he was already 35-36. We already saw Alcaraz challenging him in Wimbledon when everybody thought there were no better grass court player than Djokovic last year. When nobody like Poprin can throw up a challenge like this one having 3 set points to lead 2:1, I would not dismiss Sinner or Alcaraz easily. T

    • @hillwellford9637
      @hillwellford9637 Рік тому +8

      He's declined in some areas but his forehand is more difficult to deal with than it's ever been. His form is spotless, he's super consistent, and the variation in speed is a killer. He hits the exact same shot anywhere between 40 and 90 mph and the opponent can't know what speed it's coming until it's well off his racket. It doesn't even seem to be intentional disguise, it's just a feature of how he hits. Doesn't get enough credit, what with all the justified praise of his backhand.

    With his age, injury scare and lackluster form so far against rampaging rivals like Sinner, Alcaraz, and of course Medvedev...if he does pull out a win this time (highly unlikely IMO) he would have become a veritable GOD. Period.

      absolutely agree, he did master all the playing skills, he was naturally a master of defence but did become a master in offence, too. Master of visualization, master of strategy, master of statistics and percentage play, master of body/mind/soul techniques and languages... He finds a hole in someone's game/mentality and drills there in a number of ways. And always super motivated, even if the opponent is not super inspiring or the round of the tournament is whatever, one jerk in the crowd can motivate him to become a wolf.

    Novak is playing with a different mentality since the start of this season. He’s more enjoying the game while he’s still in it rather than fighting for his matches. Also, if you guys have bored, he’s praising his opponents way more than usual. His after match interviews he’s talking more about the virtues of his opponents than his own game. A different Nole for sure, I think, we “his fans” should start to lower our expectations.

    1/17/2024 - Will you quit telegraphing in your video thumbnails the winner of a tennis match? You’re constantly doing that by showing one player, the winner. Who wants to watch a match knowing the outcome? So stop it. Show two players on your thumbnail with no indication as to who won. Thank you.

    i've seen this before,theses players that players tennis ledgens,always celebrate to early before the match is over.i've seen it with federer,nadal and novak to name a few others like serena williams.alexai had three match points on his serve and could not close it out,he choked because he realise in his mind at the last minute who was on the other side of the net.these ledgens tennis players when ever they are playing a match and they are playing a player that they can beat in their sleep sometimes have a let down in their game they do'nt play agresive they are too relax,but when the match is tight and they realize they are loosing then they began to play more agresive,they are waiting for just one mistake from their opponent,which they always do,and when that mistake is made,it mis lights out for the opponent,like it was in this match,alexai could not win that third set he choked.

    Saw some tweets from Fedal fans saying how low and unclassy of a behavior it was to confront the heckler, Fedal would never do that! Well the thing is Fedal had never faced such situations at all, may be only on some occasions at the beginning of career, so what do they talk about? Had those classy Fedal faced it like Nole, I dont think they would handled half as well.Federer actually faced that at the beginning of his era, and he didnt handle it very well, but oh well, what are we talking about? It was only the start of his career :)
