these look fantastic and no doubt give excellent efficient braking but - how the average scooterist will be able to change the front wheel on the side of the road in bad weather on their own is another matter !

Hi Midge, this could be a valid point but why should you have to change the wheel by the roadside for any reason other than it being worn right out? With modern tubeless wheel rims, roadside puncture repair is easy and if you use anti-puncture liquid (as we use with all tubeless wheels here at RLC), it's nearly impossible to get a flat. You don't see modern motorcycles with spare wheels and that's the reason why. These Casa Performance double-disc brakes come supplied complete with their own specific tubeless wheel rim so it's just a case of 'fit and enjoy'.

I myself have tuneless rims and my tyres are filled with goop but I still carry a spare wheel as these anti puncture fillers have been known to fail from time to time , my disc brake is just a single and that is awkward enough to be able to change the front wheel by yourself in the garage let alone on the side of the road , I can see the benefits of having a duel disc but also the flip side if the worst happens , touch wood it's not happened to me yet and hopefully it never will , have you any plans to introduce a rear disc brake for the LAMBRETTA to improve the old drum design of 60 odd years lol
