Also the depth that is mentioned for several of Jackie's shades is what prevents her shades from appearing ashy on darker skin. So the dupes only work for people who don't need the depth or don't mind the ashyness.
Thank you for doing a real comparison video! Everyone wants to get into the politics(about the person,) when its convenient BUT it's really about the makeup! I disagree. I have about 10 dupes of sponsored in my collection right now. Jen even said weve seen that color in so many different palettes. If you are interested in a single of it Buxom has one i picked up at Ulta ( its my favorite color sp i am happy i have alot of variations of it) and it is called 'no faux'
@@cherylraitt62 she said most have a heavier brown undertone, which no faux seems to have as well. Just looking at swatches, I don't think that green is comparable, but I will have to look at them in store. Thank you for the suggestion though
True, and I don't know why companies don't bother doing these deeper shades regularly? I bet those would look great on my pale skin as well as on the dark skin people too. Though my problem is hooded eyes, so not much shade is ever visible, and currently I'm just using a bit of eye safe blush.
The swatches made me want this palette even more. The only thing I don't like about this palette, is that it has Jackie's signature, not a fan of hers, but it still is the most beautiful eyeshadow palette from ABH this far. The color story is right up my alley. I'm definitely getting if it will be available during a Black Friday or similar sale.
That's what I like about Sponsored. I have so many of those green blue with the brown undertones and I have never seen anything like Sponsored with that much green!😍

I think juvia's place has a similar color in the saharan II palette? I think I've tried to use it as a highlighter once
Jawbreaker from the js palette is similar. And there's a butter high lighter that is like this but creamy. I think it was limited edition though, and there is more white to the base which is something I need. I'm too pale for most gold highlighters, cause the gold glitter itself would look too dark

This is seriously the best abh palette out, I'm pasty as hell and adore it. I actually think some of the shades are really unique to be honest, I love sponsored it's probably one of my favourite shades ever, and I love wigglese, I haven't seen another true red in any other abh palette before?
I really appreciate this review. It’s the most thorough review I’ve seen on this palette. I own the palette because I collect eyeshadow palettes and although it’s a beautiful palette, I’d definitely say it is not necessary to buy if you have a respectable eyeshadow collection already.
The Milani Palette has been out for over 3 months now, and I think the colors are GORGEOUS! They also wear really well considering how affordable it is-
I REALLY needed it. Its the only ABH palette where I can use every color without looking like I use sidewalk chalk for eyeshadow. You can use any color in 99% of the palettes that are out there. I cant.
The Jackie palette looks amazing! At first glance I didn't like it, because I felt it didn't have enough neutral options. But I realized that I have enough neutral palettes and this has such an amazing color selection. These colors are so unique, they really pop but they're also sophisticated and mature.
I have a light skin tone and I will say that I love the way these colors work on me. I do not find them to be too dark (I do like shadows that have more pigment, and I do not look silly in these shades). I love this palette and I don't think it's the same as the other ABH palettes. I am very happy I own this palette. I use dry brushes, wet brushes, and my finger and I get lots of different looks, depending on what I'm going for. Thanks for the video Jen! Looking forward to your review, although I'm already sold on the palette!!! Take care, Ginny 😘😘😘
This is the most structured, informative and helpful video I think I've ever seen. I would really like to own it. The metallic red and purple are calling me.
Jackie is one of my all time favorites so I bought it today. Even though I'm much much lighter then her so i dont know if they're are crease shades for me. But i wanted to support her
So happy I stumbled across your channel. I love the abh comparisons because I feel and felt that this was another palette that already had shades in other palettes they’ve released. Jackie’s palette is just richer which makes sense. It gives the bam affect without having to build it up. But for someone as light as I am there isn’t a wow factor to this palette. I might still snag it because I have like every abh palette and to support a fellow sister. But I totally get what Jackie was going for here. If you’re of a richer complexion this is definitely a must 🙌🏽🖤
Just bought this today! Shookington is my favorite and I can't wait to try it! This will be my first high end pallet I've purchased that wasn't on clearance at TJ Maxx! (Sorry not sorry, lol) Go Jackie!
It took me a while to purchase this one because I almost instantly regretted buying the Riveria palette. The Sephora sale tipped me over the edge and I am in love with Trust Issues in particular.
SO glad you did this!! So hard to tell if there are dupes without seeing them side by side - would you ever consider doing a side by side of Colourpop Peach Palette & the Colourpop Sweet Talk palette? They look so similar.
YES for some of us. Because the formula changed again. The Riviera and Alyssa palettes contained bismuth oxychloride which is a fairly common irritant that causes itching similar to if you're sensitive to cheap earrings. Riviera was the first with the new formula and I found out the hard way. This palette might have a lot of dupes and I don't know if I'll purchase, but I'm excited to know that I might be able to continue buying/using ABH in the future. Jen - any concerns about the new formula?!?

This video was well done, as usual! You did an excellent job of comparing shades, and I was shocked to see just how many repeats I've purchased over the years. I also forgot just how much I love the Mario palette, I'm gonna pull it out of the archives and put it back into rotation😁
Thank you so much for this one! I've been waiting for reviewers that I follow to review this palette! Personally, I love the palette and I don't have any dupes for it. The ABH palettes I have don't have these shades, but I love that you were able to compare to your wider collection. Waiting for the full review!
From looking at the color from videos swatches, that red shade seems to be dupable with sugarpill’s Kiss Kiss, which is also mega close to the metallic red in Blood Sugar, and for a cheaper version, MUR x Tammi carnival palette. Its a very red, slightly scarlet, non high shine metallic shade. Its one of my fav eyeshadow colors
Thanks Jen, this was a fun video. I love that they made a palette that would suit deeper skin tones, but it's so darn beautiful I want it, too (I'm very fair). There's several shades that I've never seen before, and I am in love with the ABH formulas. I think Jackie did an outstanding job! 😍❤👍💄
I judged this palette hard when I first saw the leak of it, but I have to admit....these colors look beautiful. Every look I’ve seen done with them looks stunning. I want it even though I’m super pale and not sure how much I’d use it on a day to day basis.
I only use abh shadows nowadays but as a fair neutral loving girl the last few launches where just to much bright colors for me. Sultry was my last purchase (HG - I have 2 Backups XD) but Iam very excited about the Jacky Aina palette! Ordered one today and it will be the perfect partner for my sultry! It is great that this palette is works well in deep skin and jewel tones are nice on fair skin. Sponsored and the shimnering red are soooooooo pretty!!
Thank you for always being so thorough and unbiased and truly helpful. My eyes are too sensitive to wear eyeshadow anymore but I still love watching your videos :)
I liked RawBeautyKristi's review of this palette too. But I really liked how you swatched it and tried to find dupes too. This is the first video of yours I've seen. I'm going to check out some of your others videos now!! 💖💄💖
That ginger shade is crazy! ABH just loves including that kind of shade in a palette 🤔 it’s probably an easy shade to replicate/produce but that’s crazy. Thanks for making this Jen!! 💜
Congratulations on receiving the PR. I’m so surprised that the Milani Gilded Rouge (not Ember that’s mentioned in the video) has so many dupes. I have that palette and love it
“Sponsored” is such a beautiful shade! 😍 I also loved “Lituation”. Too bad ABH shimmers don’t last very long for me, even with a glitter primer underneath. My makeup is on for about 12hrs mon-fri and my BH Hangin in Hawaii shimmer shades last beautifully all day without any primer help. 🤷♀️ This is a beautiful palette nonetheless! I bought this pallet yesterday and used it today. Your comment on big wig about it working well in the crease and building it up slowly was dead on. Gotta use kind of a pat down motion with it then blend it out to get a good blend. But it is a beautiful shade.
I usually buy all of the ABH palettes but I didn't get the Sultry, Alyssa Edwards or the Jackie Aina. Thank you for doing a real comparison video! Everyone wants to get into the politics(about the person,) when its convenient BUT it's really about the makeup! This was a great video displaying the differences throughout the ABH palettes! Everyone should watch this review because it was PRODUCT based, not BIAS based!
@@dianaberlin4767 True! So do I but this was truly about the product. I watched a lot of commentary about not getting the product because of the person. This is the first review, I've seen, broke down like this. I definitely get everything else but at the end of the day, it all washes off💖
Sweets Harmony agreed! I love this Pallete and will get a lot of use from it.
@@clairezza9372 I've seen UA-cam and instagrammers, do amazing looks, all skin tones! I'm excited for this to come to my collection. The only ABH palette I owe is Modern Renaissance.
This video is still politics. The bottom line is the the Jackie Aina palette is a great palette. It's my first Anastasia palette, and I couldn't be more happy! This palette wasn't made for my skin tone, but it works well with my skin tone. It's an amazing palette altogether. I bought it yesterday and have created one look so far. I look forward to my future looks with this palette.
@@SweetsHarmony Same! Except this is my first Anastasia palette. And I am impressed! Side note - I am a fair white skinned woman, and I am IN LOVE with this palette! It's one of my faves! I recommend it to anyone!
They should sell Sponsored as a single shadow as part of her collab as well. I don't need the whole pallet, but that shade is so unique I would buy it as a single
ASHLEE HILBERRY
I wish ABH released more single shadows. They don’t do it often enough. I have noticed Modern Renaissance has several shades as singles.
@@jessicalopez9206 I wish they did as well! I love their formula, but I have way too much eyeshadow as is lol I cant justify buying more pallets but I would buy singles for sure
@@ashleerae8500 you're welcome. I just love that shade and practically any close variation of it, its just so beautiful.
Jackie Jackie Jackie Jackie Jackie Jackie!!!!!! I like the way supreme swatched. That looks like a difficult color to formulate
We absolutely need it! This one is great for all skin tones..
True, and I don't know why companies don't bother doing these deeper shades regularly? I bet those would look great on my pale skin as well as on the dark skin people too. Though my problem is hooded eyes, so not much shade is ever visible, and currently I'm just using a bit of eye safe blush.
On darker skin dwollahs really pops.
“The wipe test is to see if the shadows stain the skin..thru the day, thru blinking, thru wind...”
Me: thru ugly crying 😂😂😂💀
Seems like the Jackie Aina palette is like Modern Renaissance for deeper skin tones.
Hey Jen maybe your light skin change the color. It is darker on my dark skin😍
I told myself I wouldn't be buying any more palettes but this one's so interesting! Thank you for another great review!
Lituation, Sponsored, supreme, edges and Ginger are my favorite shades in there. So pretty!
Dark skinned women GET THE PALETTE! OMG SO BEAUTIFUL!
That's what I like about Sponsored. I have so many of those green blue with the brown undertones and I have never seen anything like Sponsored with that much green!😍
I already ordered my Jackie & Alyssa palettes. Because ABH palettes are like pokémon....gotta catch them all!! But I thought your swatch game was strong, girlfriend!! Sponsored is the standout color for me. Speaking of standout....my polish-lovin' heart was going pitter-patter with that nail polish you have on!! Between that and the swatches...it was almost overload for me!! lol!! My two favorite things nail polish & eye shadow!!😍😍😍 Thanks Jen!! 😘
Wiggalese was over that made me go,*Wow!"
Must be nice to have money to waste!
@@candidulce0714 You're so right...that one is pretty amazing too!!
@@annenilsen2665 Seriously?!? 🤣
Wow judgy much! Flory girl you spend your hard earned cash anyway you want to damn why people got to be salty
I had to have this palette! The colors just enchanted me and the only other ABH palette I have is Riviera. I do so appreciate these swatch/comparisons that you do! Love it and your channel!
I enjoyed this video so much. I just got the Jackie palette and I cant waiiitttt to try it out. I think I just love swatch videos/dupe videos in general and this one was super thorough and satisfying. You could go on for 30 mins as you say and Id watch every second of it lol
I love that you do such detailed comparisons. It's very helpful so thanks for the video! I'm interested in your upcoming review of this palette. I'll stay tuned!
I've been missing informative videos like this. So happy to see this in my feed!
Edit: ok I'm dying at the milani palette comparison, saying hercules. I'm only gonna call that shade hercules now 😂😂😂
Yep! Me too!!! I didn't think there were alot of people who would remember the movie reference!!
I haven’t purchased an ABH I would buy this one.
i feel like trust issues would make a BOMB highlighter. all the shine and gold without the dark base that can look bad and muddy from the wrong angle if you're not tan/dark enough.
@@drnogueiras8783 yeah its not for everyone. I'm pretty pale so it works well for me. I'm lighter then most of the lightest foundation shades available in both drug store and highend
I have every ABH palette and I can find the similar shades in my other palettes. However, I have a light-medium tone and the shades won’t appear ashy on my skin. I can def see the appeal for people with deeper skin tones.
Great video Jen!
Dollars is very intense on melanin skin! Huge difference in all of the shadows
Jen, again I THANK YOU for taking so much time to show us everything so thoroughly! You're AWESOME!
Colourpop good sport palette has 8 or 9 shades that are spot on dupes! I haven't gone thru the comments yet to see if anyone else has mentioned it yet!
Kristen Trep I would never have thought to compare them but you are right!
@@littleflick i saw jen (beauddiction) do comparison swatches on ig and a video. I already have good sport, and I already have a few ABH palettes, so I'm sure i have most shades. I'm trying not buy every single new release.. Lol!
Kristen Trep I have Good Sport too, so will have to have a play with it again! Stay strong!
Thank you!! I was looking into possibly getting this palette but after seeing the dupes i have realized i have similar shades in other palettes. You knocked it out of the park once again!! ♥️
If you have colourpop good sport palette, the shades are spot on dupes in richness and depth, and 8 or 9 of the same shades exactly! I realized I dont need this one as of now.. Even tho i think its beautiful!
I mean I think we can all agree nobody NEEDS this palette, none of us need more makeup but want is a whole separate issue 😘
Thank you, Jen! I really do appreciate when you do these comparisons!!! Mad love.😊
These are just my very favorite videos!!! Thanks for your detailed hard work!
The Colourpop Good Sport palette is also a strong dupe for majority of theJackie palette.
I just bought the Good Sport palette and it’s on the way so this comment has me real excited!
@@mollykatherine90 here's a great comparison video: ua-cam.com/video/aSGtYz-yi4M/v-deo.html
Literally the best swatches video method I've ever seen.
I’m so glad you made this video! I was so curious about this palette😂❤️
wasnt interested in the palette too much but after this video i definitely am tempted to purchase it
Jackie is one of my all time favorites so I bought it today. Even though I'm much much lighter then her so i dont know if they're are crease shades for me. But i wanted to support her
I am so glad we have Jen in the community ♡
The colors are really pretty. I don’t experiment with bold colors, but can definitely appreciate it
It took me a while to purchase this one because I almost instantly regretted buying the Riveria palette.
Makeup.Just.For.Fun did that! They are identical
@@rebeccarodriguez7145 I"m going to have to watch that!
The colourpop Goodsport palette is a good dupe. 9 similar shades.
Jen and her ✨magic hands✨ 🙌 Thank you! This made me happy. Looking forward to the full review. ☺️ As usual, much love and big hugs and the fam. ❤️🤗
This palette has some beautiful shades especially that green/brown duo chrome!!🤩🤤😍 Always enjoy your eyeshadow palette reviews..they’re always super helpful and informative. Can’t wait to see part 2!! Hope you have an amazing weekend and mad love, Jen!!🖤😘 xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxo
This video was well done, as usual! You did an excellent job of comparing shades, and I was shocked to see just how many repeats I've purchased over the years. I also forgot just how much I love the Mario palette, I'm gonna pull it out of the archives and put it back into rotation😁
I need the so bad. My undertones don't work with pallettes found in most stores. This is so perfect for me, and I'm so psyched to get mine.
I just recently bought this palette....it was glorious. I had zero fallout! Like nothing fell off on my face. I love it
I judged this palette hard when I first saw the leak of it, but I have to admit....these colors look beautiful.
I love this palette!! It's so beautiful 😍 I haven't uploaded my review yet but I like it 😍
This is Jen Luv at her best! She does a great job with palette reviews. Very thorough.
Can’t wait for your full review Jen!! Love your reviews SO thorough!! Xoxo 💋
Love how informed and unbiased you are! One of my favorite youtubers! 💖
This is the first time I’ve watched one of your swatchings and I love that you show finger and brush swatches. Thanks!!
Good job Jen🙌 loved the review, keep up the good work 😎
Best impartial review on UA-cam! Thank you!
Thanks for the review Jen!
So very happy you did this video! I feel like her colors def have more oomf in them which is what I’m wanting.
That second arm of four swatches with Dwollahs and Zamn is gorgeous. I wish it were a quad.
It's really fascinating how much desire wanes if you just wait a little. I was CERTAIN this was going to be my birthday present to myself. Now I just don't care anymore
That's probably because you can wear all the shades in the other ABH palettes.
@@dvatud904 I don't have any of the ABH palettes
@@drnogueiras8783 I've been doing just that!, and if I still really want something, I will make sure I dont have any dupes, then maybe go ahead and purchase it for myself. I thought this was super gorgeous as well, but realized I really do have 9 dupe shades in the colourpop good sport palette, and its more affordable! The richness and depth was spot on in the comparison vids I've seen.
Love and much appreciate the wipe test! thank you for such a thorough review! Great presentation and amazing editing skills! you are awesome!
I love all your comparisons :)
Love using my JA palette with my JH palette. I just love your voice! I could listen to you for hours!
I'm super happy ABH and Jackie formulated a palette for darker skin tones, they don't usually have products made just for them and I support ABH 100% for doing that. I do want the Norvina Vol 1 palette since there are so many shades and it looks like something I'll be able to use.
@@drnogueiras8783 I have aqua eyes and I don't particularly wear a lot of neutral eyeshadows. I like warm tones, orange and coral and pink and red and purple. Do you wear a lot of browns? I saw it had a really pretty pinkish champagne shimmer that looked stunning
I enjoyed the video and the comparisons. A suggestion, it would be good to label the shades on comparisons so when I pause its more noticeable which one was which. I think during the JH palette the position of swatches switched, but not sure.
I’m buying the palette because I see Jackie as an advocate for people with deep skin tones. Not because I need another pallet. All of this is luxury.
Exactly why I purchased it.
I don't own any ABH products, so I'm thinking it would be wise to get the soft glam and jackie palette and not need much else. Not ready to pull the trigger yet, but this does help part the clouds, thanks Jen!
Not sure if it’s for me. I definitely think this pallet looks gorgeous on deeper skin tones. I’m pretty light and find some of these colours look a bit overwhelming. As always super informative video Jen. Your reviews really get down to analysing the pallet rather than just your opinion on how it wears for you. Love that. Keep it up, your awesome 😁
FYI the Milani palette you showed was the Guilded ROUGE, not Guilded Ember.
