most likely is the outter door interlock failed to disengage as it happened to me before on a US national elevator when I went to P1 floor the door jammed then closed then I tried again but it did the same thing so I went back to L to take the other elevator that also goes to floor P1 and had a interlock that disengaged properly
The doors did actually open, albeit their got stuck at 5% of the way. This is likely equal to what happened to me and an accompanying teacher one time when we took the elevator: the door didn't open until I pressed the 0 button again (and i thought the elevator got stuck!). I didn't trust that 🛗 already but this made me more frightful of elevators and never made me return to using elevators (as if I wasn't already afraid of using them).
This exact thing happened to me twice. But I was able to open the door by hand.

Epic Amsler moderniseringar men BAD-FAIL med dörrarna.

And yes, the stress birds did come on that moment as well.
@SummerADDE_Elevators When you pressed the alarm button was it amsler hiss who spoke with you in the elevator
They only say it's the alarm central, so I dunno.
