Yes it's actually better in the snow than 80% of most cars. Gm's snow/ice mode is fantastic. Also it is a very comfortable daily driver. But, would be hard not to stomp on it all the time

3 awesome cars the ZL1 is 57hp less (stock) than the hellcat, but weighs 500+ lbs less so the hp advantage is more than offset. The ZL1 is faster till you hit around 100mph, where the hellcat starts to pull away. I've been a lifelong MOPAR guy till my 2015 Challenger SRT 392, my dream car, was a total mess from the 2nd week of ownership and for some reason Dodge wouldn't fix the damn thing, 22 service calls in 24 months. I had a deposit on a hellcat and the last straw for me was the #5 cylinder went bye bye. After that I couldn't justify buying another Challenger as it's a known fact there's quality control and reliability issues that still exist. I had to lemon law the 392 as anywhere I went when the vin was put in 1/2 a rheem of paper was needed and no one was touching that thing which was completely understandable. I took the lemon law check from Dodge and used it for the downpayment on my ZL1. It was special ordered as there ain't many around, even now with a sunroof. I'm at 10000 miles and have had no problems at all. Doing a little wakeup that is non-invasive to not void the warrantee, a bigger supercharger pulley that is a replacement of the bolted on the bottom of the motor with a bigger serpintine belt, a CAI and a dyno tune of both the engine computer and the 10sp automatic transmission. Nothing to mess the warrantee, and the extra kick will be enough to dust the hellcat. No mods to the motor, being done at REDLINE MOTORSPORTS in Pompano, Florida and were waiting on parts and the room at the shop as they're super busy down there, for good reason. They're all about late model GM power. The car is nuts now but a few anomilies on acceleration, the tunes will sync it all up, cool stuff...
Icruz210 640hp 630tq in the CTS-V, in the ZL1its turned up to the ZO6 levels of 650hp and 650tq. Bolt on upgrades, including the new exhaust that I wasn't going to get but now will be about an 80hp combined jump, around 580-600hp at the rear wheels. Yawzaa..... Now if the tires can last more than 9000 miles I'd be happy, fronts were toast by 9000, rears will be shot in about 2000. I don't do burn outs as getting chunks of rubber off the exhaust I've seen its not a fun thing. Goodyear super car 3's are very expensive. 20 inch 305-30's rear, 285-30's in the front. The CTS-V was almost as much as the ZO6, over $90k, that's nuts. The Florida lemon law got me more than I ever thought I'd get for the SRT392, and the ZL1 was over $4k less than the challenger hellcat, with a much better reliability record. The only thing that was better in the SRT is that Harmon Karden stereo system, that thing loosened fillings in your teeth. 900watts with 18 speakers, 2 subs in the trunk. I've heard some cool stereo systems but this even blew the Dr Dre BEATS system in my HEMI Charger away. There was a software upgrade Dodge had to do as it sounded like crap till it was patched, but it was like night and day. The BOSE surround sound in the ZL1 isn't bad, I'm gonna need to get a sub to get it sounding right. Drive safe!!

I use to love doing that when I first got my Hellcat. Then I realized how fast I was eating through my tires and said fuck this. Plus the burnt rubber sticks to the car and I hated cleaning that shit..
