Легендарное выступление Дианы в таком юном возрасте значимо тем, что повторить подобное никто и никогда не сможет!!! И такой долголетний интерес к этому выступлению, лишнее тому доказательство! Спасибо вам! Удачи!!!
Great! You've exactly named Diana's song as "My Sweet River" (Rechen'ka). Thanks for your reaction for the mystic voice of Diana. Best wishes from Russia 👍
Diana has such a unique voice. She sings this song with such conviction and emotion. Beautiful. Chef kisses. Thanks for another great reaction. Although this isnt the first time ive heard it, i could listen to it a hundred times. Thank you, Ron.
This performance of Rechenka was video recorded on May 12, 2018, when Diana was only 14 years old, and a contestant on a program for disadvantaged teens called You Are Super, which is a vocal competition. This performance had many vocal professionals saying Diana was already displaying a low, deep, and rich sound, and her on-stage presence was already well ahead of what most other 14 year old’s were capable of doing. Diana Ankudinova was well on the path to becoming a true contralto voice type, and a true contralto is very, very rare. During this 2018 You Are Super performance some people are really curious about Diana’s vocal range, so I found this information: in 2017, a year before this performance of Rechenka on the You Are Super competition, her vocal range was measured from a low of D3 to a high of A5 which puts her as a solid Alto which was very good for a 13-year-old girl. One year later in 2018 when Diana sang the Russian folk song, Rechenka her voice was noticeably deeper, and darker. Her vocal control and her musicality were noticed by many vocal professionals, and questions were being asked, and one of the most asked questions is how does she do it? How does such a young female singer achieve those low, rich, deep, profound, and resonant sounds? Without actually scoping her vocal tract while she is producing those low notes to actually see what is happening within her vocal tract, the general conciseness of many vocal professionals is to attribute Diana's ability to her winning the genetic lottery, meaning she was just born with unusual vocal anatomy that is unique to her. Her vocal vocal cords appear to be longer and thicker than the majority of female singers. Her larynx also appears to be larger than the majority of female singers, and her pharynx similarly appears to be longer than most other female singers. But it’s more than just being born with unique vocal anatomy, it’s that Diana knows how to use it. It’s in her musicality and stage presence. She can step into and assume a character on stage. She captures the audience and is not just singing a song, she is communicating with them on a personal level. Diana Ankudinova also sang these 3 additional cover songs during the 2018 season competition of You Are Super you should listen to. February 10, 2018, Dernière Danse April 14, 2018; It's a Man's Man's Man's World May 25, 2018 (Season finale) Tomorrow is a Lie, Finally, Diana was declared the winner of this You Are Super competition.
The song "Rechenka" (affectionate from the word "river") is a Russian folk ritual wedding song. There is a version that this song appeared before Christianity, and since early Christianity and paganism were closely intertwined, there are many versions of this song. It tells how an orphan girl comes to the river and prays to the spirits of nature. The song is about how my mother, father and brothers were killed by enemies, there is no one to take care of her. The river in Ancient Russia was considered the border between the world of the living and the dead. You hear an ominous whisper, it's the spirit of her late mother responding to the girl's crying. There are about 30 variants of this song, but the content of each of the variants is based on the sad appeals of the orphan bride to her deceased parents, asking them for "blessings" and help for marriage, for family, to strangers. There are other versions of this song, where the heroine appeals to her brothers and even to her parents with a call to return to earth in the form of a bird to her native home. At the end of the song, the girl sails away to a strange tribe, to a strange family. The roots of the song go back to ancient Russia, it is a very, very ancient folk folklore.

@@rjjsreactions-rk7zh Ah i see that is why, This is an extremely old and vocally complex song, Diana's cover especially is the hardest yet, you could say that it is a voice destroyer if someone tried to sing it the way she does. The song it self is about an orphan girl who is about to get married to a man that she does not know or love, going to the river which the boarder between life and death in many cultures to seek some respite, there the spirit of her mother/family/river (the song had many many iterations through the years) sees her crying and asks her what is wrong, the girl tells the spirits her story and that she has no one to bless her wedding.
