Technically, they’re poor personally because they lock up all their assets in their businesses, property, stocks, etc., and just take out loans using these as collateral. It’s crazy that it actually works, but it’s how they stay rich and keep most of the money they would lose to taxes

This is literally how the rich deal with money. Technically, they’re poor personally because they lock up all their assets in their businesses, property, stocks, etc., and just take out loans using these as collateral. Then they take out more loans to pay the previous ones. This is because loans aren’t taxed, so they save a ton of money by doing it this way. It’s crazy that it actually works, but it’s how they stay rich and keep most of the money they would lose to taxes
