I have great respect and thanks for the people of the Cape Shore. They provided a living for my family for almost 30 years. My father used to go up with a van full of vegetables, meats, and baked goods, they used to call him the peddler.
Its lovely listening to these beautiful folk of Newfoundland... they are Irish to the core. GOD BLESS THEM 🙏💚☘☘☘☘☘☘☘☘☘☘☘

The older generations were all great story tellers, and they all seemed to have a great memory.
Thanks for posting. Land and Sea is such an important program for NL to keep the old ways of life fresh in our memories.
I spent many summers visiting my grandparents in Patrick’s cove, George and Lucy McGrath, and it still bring back my fondest memories. God Bless them.

always loved this show..and it reminds me of my home where i grew up..in northern saskatchewan of reindeer lake..lake of lake and rock hills and 1000's of beautiful beaches..

I think the Roman number at the end is 1981, so I guess that's it.
