Some serious gems in this one.
Some important takeaways for me was:
    1) The Qur'an memorisation advice - do that which optimises consistency, e.g. aim at half the capability to cater for bad days, partner to read to daily, etc.
On the next podcast, could brother Mohammad touch on strategies to balance with new portion memorised and old memorisation. We often find the old gets lost with time. If brother Mohammad is making an app it would be awesome if the app could tell the user which surah to review on a daily based on his progress and performance so old memorizations are reviewed regularly.
    2) "if you are gonna attach to a personality and champion someone then attach yourself to Mohammad (saw)!"
Yeah as brother Abdul hameed said, we think this is a given but it really does need to reiterated (especially in this day and age of social media and affiliated figures) . Just like reiterating tawheed only benefits the ummah.
JazakaAllah khayran ikhwan. Very beneficial listen. May Allah increase you.

May Allah bless you brothers, I was fearing you brothers would take the tamyee' stance when mentioning two extremes regarding the death of qaradawi. May Allah strengthen you brothers and keep you firm upon the sunnah and be a means of removing the batil from the innovators. Ramadhan Mubarak

@@At-Tibyan by the way, I have a topic I would like you brothers to touch upon after ramadhan in Sha Allah and spread awareness to salafees of it. It is called the pledge of mutual respect and cooperation concocted by Yasir Qadhi in 2007. It is basically an ikhwani pledge of kitman with the sufis like Hamza Yusuf and the likes, and all the big heads in the english dawah scene signed it, such as haitham Haddad and abdurraheem green. I have a series on my channel regarding it where I gathered most information regarding it, but if you watch it there please bare in mind that I've tailored it to a young audience who I think are the ones under their greatest threat. But please touch on this topic, since this is the probably the biggest ikhwani conspiracy present today in the dawah and the goal they're working towards. Again may Allah bless you brothers and give barakah to your dawah to salafiyyah.

There is no doubt that, objectively, Dr. Qaradhawi, although having some major issues, is more knowledgeable than Ibn baz and ibn outhaimeen.

How can you "objectively" rank the knowledge of scholars if you aren't a scholar yourself? My advice is that you stick to your lane akhi, and leave such statements to the scholars. For everyone will be asked about their testimonies on the day of Judgement. Also, I advise you to educate yourself on what the definition of Islamic Knowledge is.

@@binAbdilwali Unfortunately, I know what I am talking about.
I can't compare 2 scholars but I can def. rule out someone who is not a scholar the same way I don't need to be Shakespear to determine that someone, who doesn't know what modes and tenses exist in the English language, can't be an English scholar.
+ Scholars said: Truly, books are enough witness for knowledge.
You will find so many discrepancies once you start actually reading and double-checking, that you won't have the shadow of a doubt, that you didn't know what you are talking about and those you listen to don't either.
Now let me give you the definition of a scholar:
There are 56 islamic sciences. Whoever has a general grasp of all of them + deep knowledge in one = Scholar.
If he adds to that the deep knowledge of a science from outside, like a language, maths, physics...etc = Alim mutafannin
Who who is a reference in more than one islamic science + knows sciences beyond = Allama
The basic level in every science is defined by the contents + understanding of books at different levels.
Aside from all this. Until you set your standards to those who have proved to be scholars from the past, like Abu Hanifa, Malik, Shafii, Ahmed, Muhammed ibn al Hassan, Abu Yussuf, Attahawi, Malik Assaghir, Ibn Abd ALbarr, Ibn Al Araby, Al buwayti, Al bayha9i... Annaway, Al Ghazali, Ibt Taymiyya, Ibn Muflih, Ibn Hajar, Assuyuti ... etc
Until then, you will not understand what kind of trivial mistakes Ibn Uthaymeen (def. higher level), Ibn Bez al Albani and whoever cam after them were committing. May allah have mercy upon all.

brother abu Usammah did not praise or endorce any of the positions of AL QARDAWI in fact in his video on the subject he pointed out manny of the problematic positions al qardawi took and identified as you have distansing himself from his postions and he mentioned the positions ofd the scholars of even our times opposition to him but his position ABUY uSAMMA POSTION WAS A NOBLE ONE WHICH I PEERSONLLY AGREE WITH WHICH IS ONE in concert with the scholars who were critical of him which was one of profffessional mutual respect that was best identified in the mannor they refuted al qardawi sticking to the issues as u said not being personal and NEVER TO WISH PUNNISHMENT AFTER HIS DEATH OR IN THE GRAVE this is not consistent with the methodology of the scholsars of selaf as disagreement among scholsars in all fields of scholarship is a consistant component ...the man spent 90 years of his life dedicated to this religion while his contraversial postions arer known and the subject of rebuke and refutation ACKNOWLEDGEMENT for his dedication AND SINCERITY is ALSO KNOWN pray the best for him in the ahkiraah with the mercy and forgivness of ALLAH as that is the best of affairs and in keeping with the scholarship we follow and praise as he deserves nothing less ...........just my opinion
